Check in requires a $100 cash only deposit. Was not indicated prior to arrival. The person at the front desk was incredibly rude When trying to convince me that this policy was clearly posted On Expedia. My room was not available for check-in until after check-in time.

At check in we had to pay a $100 deposit on top of a resort fee that wasn’t told in the price when booked. The room was awful. It had a sour smell. The bathroom tub didn’t drain well but the drain cover kept coming off and actually almost cut my child’s foot. The TV kept cutting off by itself and the remote didn’t work even with switching the batteries. Tried to use the microwave and it would only go for a second or two before it would shut off. Rooms definitely needed some general TLC along with most of the hotel itself. The pool even didn’t look like it had been cleaned, it had a bunch of trash floating in it. Only good thing is it did have a good beach access but besides that wouldn’t recommend this place.

It was awful. The lights didn’t work. The shower didn’t drain. They were bugs crawling everywhere. It was absolutely disgusting not worth the money. Don’t stay.

Horrible place to stay
Roaches and bed bugs where coming out if the base boards. The door handle came off twice trapping me in my room for 30 plus minutes. AC was stuck on 60 degrees and couldn’t be adjusted at all. Maintenance said just to unplug it if I was cold. The lady at the front deak laughed when I showed her my door handle in my hand. I booked a 7 night stay and after two nights I left and wasn’t refunded the full amount for my stay

It was convenient to walk to the nearest restaurants and stores and they had kitchenette that was also useful but the only problem was they was infested with small roaches and big cockroaches and the rooms was non smoking 🚭 but other than that it was decent for the price and my husband and i stayed for 5 nights

The room smelled pretty bad so we bought a candle and air freshener to help. The king bed was long since worn out. We both rolled to the middle by the end of the night. Cleaning staff was top notch and did what they could to make our stay better. There was no electricity from the receptacle behind the bed

cockroaches in the hotel.
Worst check in experience ever, she was not friendly at all and treated me if I was getting the room for free, if you don’t want to take cockroaches to your home don’t stay in this terrible hotel.

I give this between 1 and 3 star. They charge a cleaning fees but no one came a once to clean or get the trash out of our room.and there was roaches in our room.only good thing was oceanfront at beach.. when i booked it was one price and even called the same day i booked they told me it was that price when i got down there and checked in it was a different price plus 100 cash deposit.

This was the worst hotel in America,my shower look like a prison shower.Roaches all over the place & rug smell bad.I went to front desk 4 times they tried to call cleaning service. It was a cosmetic issue. They never offer an another room or nothing.We get there rooms $64 I aid double which was unfair. Their guy worked there said the bad room was the worst. I was so miserable there. I even called Expedia to help they clainmto get me another room nothing happen at all. This motel should shut down the outside rooms down. They had a cleaning lady name Mrs. Francis was the greatest person in the world. I paid $550 for a trash motel.Customer service is not part of the front desk.Then they had the nerve to check my room before I get my money. Expedia never check on me to see if I recieved proper help. Am.never going back to Myrtle Beach again because this experience.If any comes here try to get a room inside outside look like projects in the 90s

Will never stay here again, DO NOT recommend !!!!!
Def didnt know about the 100$ security deposit, should make it known instead of having a small print. The light skinned lady with the bad acne at the front desk was rude with her dry ahh braids . They got roaches!!!!!!!!!! I stayed on the 2nd floor ocean front and the view was hard to see bc of the trees that were in front but overall a pretty view , room smelled like roaches ! & the pool was dirty asf.
