The overall experience with this resort was positive. The staff were friendly and the rooms were initially clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the pool area was nice and a lot of fun for the kids, and the additional parking lot (not a garage) across the street was great. I have a large truck, so not having to deal with the garage only having a 6' 8" clearance was nice! Only downsides are 2 things. They don't clean the rooms daily or at all, while you're there. I did ask for a broom and dust pan to clean ourselves each day. They take trash if you put it outside the room, and they do leave fresh towels though. Second issue, my wife and I CONSTANTLY smelled weed while we were on our balcony. We stayed on the pent house, and it never seemed to matter if it was morning, noon, or night, someone below us always seemed to be smoking weed outside. That's a major deterrent for us as a family. Also, some guy was randomly vaping in the elevator, with 4 maids, a guy and a small child. Not one person said anything to him. Staff should have addressed this. Rest assured if my child was in the elevator at the time, I would have said something. Completely unacceptable!
