Overall we were not displeased, however there were some issues that may lead to us not booking here again.
First, my family booked two rooms at the same time. Not a huge deal whether the rooms were together or not, but we booked the exact same room. The staff ended up upgrading one of the rooms to a suite, which was nice. However when we asked if we could upgrade the other room, first we were told it would be an additional $22, then it went up to an additional $44, then the staff went to speak w management as we started to pay and came back and told us it would actually be an additional $229. We told them that was an easy no for us (we were only there two nights) - the suite they tried to convince us to get was old and damaged.when we told them this the price yet again changed. H the end they tried to put an additional $280, So we said that’s a hard no thank you, I don’t know why they changed the price so much, but we stuck with the original room.
Online said it was remodeled, however most of the hotel was under construction. One of the rooms were more modern than the other, but the issue with that was that it was noisy as the construction was going on.
The issues with our room was the beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom was very small, and the mirror had rust on it. The shower curtain rod fell down if you touched the shower curtain, the paint on furniture was chipped, tv went out.
Parking wasn’t the best.
The pool was great.
