Close to the Ferry. Poor arrangement for second floor occupancy. You need to haul all your luggage up a flight of stairs. Elevator goes to the third floor only.

I've stayed here for work in the past. Overall its a nice place, with balconies, nice staff. But the rooms smell bad. I've stayed in cheap hotels all over the world that smell better.

It’s an old property and could use some upgrades but it had all we needed for an overnight stay. Close to the ferry terminal and the room was clean, beds were comfortable. Air conditioning didn’t seem very efficient, ran all night but didn’t really cool the room. Breakfast was just muffins, yogurt, apples and bananas. For the price I would stay here again.

The establishment has seen better days. It needs major renovations or rebuilt. You can hear people walking above the room and outside in the hallways. The elevator only goes up to the 3rd n 4th floors. Being located next to a major road, rooms closer to this road can become very noisy. Overall, there are better choices in Nanaimo. Thank goodness we only stayed for 1 night.
