As requested, contacted hostal 27 hrs in advance of my arrival. At 2pm the hostal sent a message, telling me that they have nobody manning the desk 2-5 PM. SO WHY DO THEY LIE ABOUT CHECK IN IN THE HOTEL.COM INFO??? AND WHY DO THEY HAVE A POLUCY OF NO REFUND IN THE CASE OF EARLY CHECK OUT??? I was ready to check out after my first night in this extremely uncomfortable room, on the extremely uncomfortable bed and with downright rude staff, who offered me a better room at higher price and refused to let me speak with the owner. And she had the guts to tell me that she had not seen me yesterday between 5 and 10 pm. SO, I WAS EXPECTED TO STAY IN THIS MISERABLE ROOM WAITING FOR HER?..
The only single room which they have is UNINHINITABLE and they shoul pay a lot to the people who stay here. They charged me $43/night, the same amount I had paid at Granada Centro, a nice hotel, breakfast included, for the 5 previous nights of Semana Santa. FULLY EXPECT A PRICE ADJUSTMENT OF MIN $15 a night. Best of cancel this reservation NOW WITH FULL REFUND FOR REMAINING NIGHTS.
