This property is located in a good area, across from Conestoga mall. However the room has no AC so you are boiling, the TV doesn't work, the room is disgusting with stains up and down the walls, the curtains, the shower is peeling and full of dirt and grim. You can see patch work on the walls where they did work but haven't finished. You can hear your neighbours conversations. I felt like I needed to shower after staying in the hotel and didn't even spend the night, ended up going elsewhere because it was too hot with no AC and it was too grimey.

What I didn't like right at the start no one was covering the check in counter, had to wait 5-10 min, just to get checked in. Room was something else sheets were not changed, chair looked like they had picked off the street, we had to set up the appliances ( coffee maker, clock) had to find outlets. Floors were dirty, sawdust by leg corner. Room looked still in reno mode. Bathroom had long black hair on shower walls and floor showerhead was looking filthy alot of the holes seemed plug-up. Breakfast was said to be hot, the only thing that was warm was the toast.

The thermostat was turned off when I entered the room. The lightbulb for the entranceway did not work. The second floor had a change in elevation, so I could not wheel the luggage cart to my room from the elevator. Very strange. The bed was nice. The free breakfast featured Jamaican beef patties (never encountered that before). It was not impressive. The next morning the Wi-Fi Internet access was down. That seems unacceptable to me in this era. There are no other amenities at this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk at checkout time looked disheveled with a loose necktie and a shirt that was not buttoned at the top. I do not plan to stay here again. To me, this hotel does not appear to be up to the standard of the Trademark Collection by Wyndham.

Overall it was good, however the room had a musty wet smell to it. You couldn't open window to get fresh air. The dinner for a party they had, was left out in lobby and that snelled lingered

I would not recommend staying at this place. The room was clean enough but the attention to room equipment and fixtures is terrible. The heat/AC control was unpowered, easily dislodged from the wall, and there was no way to change room temperature. The power outlet next to my bed was cracked and the outlet itself was not properly secured to the wall. The shower head in the bathroom barely expended any water. Water simply dribbled in.
