A bit noisy in the hallway in the evening (room was close to stairwell), but pretty quiet otherwise. Nice to have breakfast included: a bit basic but not bad.

The property was very plain but very well kept, interestingly there was a horseshoe pit out front did not ask if it belonged to the hotel. The room was smaller but very modern and fresh and clean and very quiet. We where very happy we booked there.

Hotel was nice clean and the room was renovated. Few issues I feel to mention. We were only there a very short time like midnight and left by 7 am. The room was nice and clean the breakfast was good as well. We were booking as a couple with our toddler and the only option was 2 twins or one queen so we selected the queen and just said we will put our toddler between us since it was a short stay. The hotel options said no cribs or cots available. I booked and was sent a message right away they do not accept 3rd party bookings. Confused I called the property direct and asked and the lady on the phone was quite saucy with me in saying we cannot accept your credit card with the hotel booked in your husbands name. So I said ok we'll change the booking to my name then and she all a sudden turned around and said oh your staying and I said yes and then I was told it was fine. I was then told you know you booked a Queen for 3 people and I said yes that's all there is then was told we could have a cot. Confused I said ok because it says online none are available and was assure there is and one would be in our room. Fast forward to check in all was ok and smooth but I asked is the cot in our room they went to check and no it wasn't so he had to go get one to put in our room delaying us slightly at midnight with a toddler. Sleep was fine breakfast food went to check out and was told is it ok we just put the $35 cot charge on the card on file. I was stunned and this is when I got mad.

This property was surprisingly awesome. Our room was completely redone and absolutely beautiful. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Room had a comfortable bed, microwave and fridge which are all great. Place is in good condition, wasn’t expecting it to look so new. Not far from the main area of New Minas with restaurants, groceries, liquor store and convenient to get to Wolfville as well. Only gave four stars overall because there was no soap or body wash in the shower, otherwise it was a great spot.

We are 2 couples driving through Nova Scotia to enjoy nature. The Slumber Inn provided us with SUPER accommodations! The interior is completely renovated with new high quality sheets & fluffy towels. Room cleanliness and staff friendliness were top notch! This property exceeded our expectations at every level. THANK YOU!! Tourists should know that this New Minus location is an easy drive to Burncoat (highest Fundy tides) and the South Maitland Tidal Bore Interpretive Center with outside viewing & free on-site guide.
