We are in town for a family event, & this hotel is wonderful. Surprisingly, the area is very quiet. The staff are friendly & offered a wonderful suggestion for dinner. I will definitely stay her when I am in New Orleans again.

An old property not up to the usual Courtyard standard. Very small room. It was uncomfortable not having a door to the toilet area. Too much furniture in such a small room. Great location. Ridiculously inflated price since was Taylor Swift weekend.

October visit to NOLA
The hotel was centrally located in downtown for restaurants offering gulf shrimp and oysters and of course creole cuisine. The street car pick up near the hotel and we rode uptown to the Garden District - great times! The room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Good for a quick stay.
Overalll, the stay was good - the staff was amazing. So helpful and friendly. I can't stress that enough. They made the overnight stay worthwhile. I was a little disappointed to not find some of the little comforts like lotion, a shower cap, and standard size pillows [I had 3 throw pillow sized pillows on my bed] that I've come to expect from Marriott properties. It would have made a longer stay unpleasant.
