Shower was moldy. Fridge was all rusty and interior of fridge had a funny smell. Valet was super nice and helpful at check in but didn’t want anything to do with us at check out when they saw all of our bags. For what I paid for the room I expected a lot more.

Rooms are huge, beds were a little too firm for me but the fold out couch mattress was surprisingly comfortable. The kids argued over who got it. Staff was so nice, we stayed over Christmas and the place was decked out beautifully. Great indoor pool, decent free breakfast (but get there early, short on sitting space). Viet Orleans Bistro and Juan’s Flying Burrito were nearby, delicious, and affordable. Streetcar stations nearby, get the jazzy pass and you can get all over the city for $3/day.

First time visiting NOLA, this hotel is at a great location. Close to canal street, easy bus or streetcar stations nearby. Multiple restaurants nearby and just 2 blocks away from a supermarket. Hotel amenities are great, cleaned rooms and spacious. Definitely recommend and would be staying on my next visit.

Wonderful Christmas stay for Polar Express!
We had a great one-night stay to ride the Polar Express (station about 1/2 mile away in walkable area). Hotel was clean and well maintained. Our son loved the shuffleboard table in the lobby. Our 1-bedroom suite was spacious in both rooms, and the sofa and sofa bed were brand new (I literally had to take the heavy plastic off the mattress to put on a fitted sheet for my son to sleep without crunching all night.) All bedding for sofa bed, including 2 pillows, was already in the room, which was very convenient. I requested 2 additional pillows, and housekeeping delivered promptly. Breakfast was a decent selection, well stocked and typical quality for an included breakfast. Valet parking is $50/night; however, we lucked out and found street parking adjacent to the hotel for free (1 night weekend stay). Staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions. Pizza Luna right behind hotel was decent bar food for a quick bite. Highly recommend the Homewood Suites on Poydras. Would definitely stay again!

I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and security of the hotel. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage with the front desk staff so we could explore the city - they also gave great recommendations for local restaurants.

The property was fine, however, when I pay almost $200 a night for a room, I don't expect to find black mold in multiple places around the tub and on a kitchen cabinet. I stayed in room 410 and it could use some love. Also the overflow drain in the steel bath tub has been broken and now has a rusty circle around it. It could easily be repaired using epoxy and covered with fresh enamel appliance paint.

Ongoing Rivalry!
Friends stayed here for Falcons v/s Saints Game. About 10 mins walk to Bourbon Street. Staff were friendly and polite. Bed a little too firm for my liking. Breakfast could offer more options for those that don’t eat meat or pork, but other than that we had a great time.
