We paid for internet and it didn't reach the 10th floor. There was no TV remote. We asked for a remote and refund for the internet, but the host never reached out to us (I had called, texted, and sent message on this website, nothing). I asked daily at the lobby for a remote, refund for internet, and they kept telling me to ask the next morning and they would tell the owner. The next morning, the same thing. Finally, the lobby said he spoke to the owner, and she said there was a tv remote in the room, but it was hidden. He didn’t know where it was hidden. Why not put it on a table? The remote was not in the unit. I asked for new towels on the 3rd day there, lobby didn't give them. On the 4th day, I asked for towels again, they begrudgingly gave us 2 towels, even though we had 5 people in our room. We were there for 6 days and only received 2 new towels. There was no housekeeping, which is ok, but at least provide towels.There was a mouse and a mouse hole. Wedid not receive the room we requested when we booked. It had a different layout, it was 2 doubles and a twin, all in a triple bunk bed. The people sleeping on the bottom bed has about 2.5 ft to crawl in. The railing for the bunk bed was loose. There was mold in the shower. The stools were the same height as the table, so we ate sitting on the floor. The place is affordable and walking distance to Empire State Building and Times Square, but the customer service was horrendous. Be prepared to never hear back from the host.
