Downtown Buffalo is half urban-renewal empty lots and half glorious century-old buildings. The hotel is a well-run corporate-type place with friendly staff and clean facilities. A safe bet.

Football weekend. Excellent downtown location with numerous sports bars, and restaurants, including steakhouses, and other culinary choices within easy walking distance. Nice lobby bar, Starbucks on site, and big, comfortable seating area for large party gatherings. The area is also very well lit in the evening.

Hotel was fine. It seemed clean, but extremely outdated and a bit musty. I would not categorize this as a 4 star hotel at all (maybe 20 years ago it was…). It’s a fine place to stay if needed but I just wouldn’t expect 4 stars.
