The hotel was just fine but…. What I didn’t know when booking was that the owners are working hard at union busting tactics with their staff. There was protesting going on and I have a hard time with people in service trying to make a decent living. We tipped big and won’t go there again.

The staff treated us so well. Everyone was very friendly. The reason my rating is so poor is because of the state of the room. The room had a terrible smell to it. We sprayed ferbreeze but that did little to nothing to get rid of the smell. The carpets and furniture had awful stains on them. The room just looked dirty. Also it was very cold in the room. We tried adjusting the temperature but it did nothing. Went to the pool and the room where the pool was also very cold. The water in the pool was a good temperature but it seems like the had cool air blowing into the room. It was not possible to stay in the pool. I feel like I did not get my money’s worth with my stay. Literally the only pleasant things were the friendly staff and the Starbucks in the lobby.
