The staff made all the difference. We were there for 3 nights. On three separate occasions, the bell cap on duty, anticipated our needs and offer their services. Even on our way out on the final Morning, Jamal approached to ask if our parking pass had been validated. We had parked nearby at a non affiliated garage so had not even thought of it. As a result, we got a discount on our parking charge! Literally every encounter with the staff was a positive experience. No restaurant in the hotel, but many dinning options close by. We had a great time and would stay there again.

Great location, central for getting around. Room decor was a bit tired, but clean. Beds were very comfortable and shower nice and hot. Reception staff could have been a bit more helpful and friendly. However door men were great, so helpful and welcoming. Iced water, coffee and tea in foyer in the morning was a lovely bonus. All in all we had a great stay at the Ameritania

I like the convenience of the property. It’s close to the subway and other forms of transportation. If you arrive early before check in they do have a bag service to hold onto your bags and also at check out if you want to explore the city. The gym is located in the basement, and it is well maintained. They do have water bottles for the guests and some towels. You can only access the gym using the third elevator on your right closest to the bar. Overall, I did have a great experience at this hotel being my first time in the city.
