I really liked staying at the Arlo. Rooms are tiny but offer great amenities and mine had a great view. You can get coffee in the lobby and theres also a small diner. Sadly my visit was marred on the last day as i had to wait 30 minutes for an elevator. One went out of service and the other is programmed to bypass your floor to start at the top resulting in FIVE FULLL elevators stopping at my floor. I had luggage so i couldn’t use the stairs as i was on the 14th floor. Truly frustrating.

Love this place!!
I love this hotel!!! I've stayed here twice now and have had a great experience both times. The front desk is friendly, the area is incredibly walkable and close to lots of things to eat and do, and the hotel is safe and secure!

We were excited to stay at the Arlo. We come to NYC every year at the same time. Unfortunately this hotel fell very short. The rooms, though small, were fine. But the air vent was the absolute loudest I’ve ever had in a hotel. It woke us up every 30 minutes. The coffee bar upfront was closed all weekend. And the one time we went for cocktails in the restaurant, there was no bartender. The elevators were brutal, and there was often only 1 running. $500-$600 per night is tough to stomach already… but it’s Christmas in NY. So I get it. But if you’re going to play in that class of hotel then you need to get the basics right. Will not be staying again. I will, however, say that the staff that was working was always friendly and kind. This review is not a reflection on the people working there!

In a good location. Convenient to 5th avenue . Rooms were tiny. Ours wasn’t ready even by 3 pm then put in room with broken shower and broken blinds. Luggage sent to wrong room. Had to move rooms again. Elevators very slow. Not many amenities - basic diner restaurant, snack shop closed.

Although the rooms are small they are comfortable and have everything you need. The common areas are very nice and provide extra space if needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an excellent and well priced option especially for a short visit.
