Hello I would like to request a refund for the stay at Candlewood suites, apon arrival we were dismissed from checking in. During the check in process I was not made aware of a 100 hold that was out on my card until after and was told that it was a requirement even tho it doesn’t state it in my confirmation emails. The room smelled of smoke and dusty upon arrival. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful

This is a nice property to stay in the city. Close to everything and accessible. The hotel had amenities like free coffee, hot chocolate and certain snacks. Those were a nice touch. The rooms were comfortable with everything you may need. Only issue was the heater, which was a bit loud sometimes. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The process of checking in and checking out was swift and simple. The hotel was in an area accessible to Times Square, drug stores, restaurants, and public transportation. I appreciated the guest gift bag. For the price, location, and amenities I recommend this hotel to others. I didn't like that the shower drain was backed up in the bathroom.

Pleasantly surprised, spacious, clean, cozy room. The plumbing in the shower room is not one of the best, elevators were not all in use. But the service of the staff was pleasant, the location is excellent, and definitely appropriate for the price.

We got two hotel room in Candel Wood . It is 8/10 mins walk to time square, however if you planning to stay less then 7 days no Cleaning service. Only limited water. We were not happy with our stay. Stuff was friendly but rooms were not clean. If possible we would cancel it but it wasn’t. Hope they can improve. Definitely not recommended.

The room and accommodations were decent—no complaints on that front. However, there were two aspects I didn’t appreciate. Despite being on the 9th floor, I was awakened several times by city noise from outside. While the neighborhood is centrally located with convenient access to Times Square and dining options, encountering panhandlers every 50 feet was an unpleasant experience.

Convenient for Times Square
Convenient location near Times Square and not far from the Navy Yards. No servicing of rooms if you stay less than 7 days which is a long time although you could have asked. Free laundry and gym a bonus but housekeeping staff speaking loudly outside the room early every morning disappointing as was the fact the room keys demagnetised daily and we were on the 25th floor and had to go back down every night to get them recut until we realised and had them recut as we came in.
