Pros Location was good. Receptionist was helpful. Cons Very very thin walls. I kept waking up when a baby was crying in the next room. Also when their alarm started going off and the other guest kept putting it on snooze. When I told the reception about the noise thats carrying, they said there was no baby. Later on they said the baby was someone's alarm, which was a total lie because I heard the baby cough. I dont know why she had to lie. If she wasnt lying, then its a phantom baby, so do you really want to stay there? You have to turn the shower on and leave it for awhile to get hot water. The first night I had to wait for almost 10 mins to have a shower. They charge to keep your bags.

Poor quality stay
Pretty terrible stay, shower is leaking all over the place and has been for a while judging by the stains. Metal shower drain is broken, door is rusted due to the long term leaks. The mattress is pretty terrible and enclosed in a noisy plastic cover. Avoid this place if you can.

Overall the property was average at best. Pros: The front desk clerk Jessy was awesome! She showed genuine care during our check-in and check-out process. She was also very knowledgeable about the area and recommended several places to go & things to do. We actually did a few of them. Cons: our room was pretty cold the whole time we were there. I turned the thermostat as high as it could go (80°F) but we had to keep sweaters on the whole time we were in our room. It appeared as though the hotel was undergoing renovations (at least I hope it was), so the hotel itself just seemed dark & dreary. I “might” stay here again, but I would check around to see what else is available first.

The walls are so paper thin that you can hear the people in the next room just speaking normally. And the lights in the room don't function well and occasionally turn on and off at random times. The front desk people were very nice and room itself is nice and relatively spacious for NYC.

I was quite disappointed with my recent stay at the Truss Hotel Times Square. The room itself was in poor condition, with worn furniture, a lumpy mattress, and scratched walls. The lack of in-room coffee was an unexpected inconveniences. Noise from the street was a major issue due to poorly insulated windows. To make things worse they charge cash-only fee for luggage storage. Overall, the hotel's quality and amenities did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel.

This is very bad hotel, in room a lot of things broken and dirty, bathroom is very dirty. It was scary to wash in the shower. there is fungus in the bathroom A/C has a crazy sound, cause filter is fully clogged. I’m not recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Super close parking garages - use Spot Hero to find a good deal. Once parked you can walk everywhere. The property has been updated but there are worn carpets, the bathroom has some rotted metal areas near the bottom of the shower enclosure and the windows are older. But for a night or 2 the hotel is a great price and location is convenient to enjoy NYC without breaking the bank.

Prime location, exemplary customer service, clean, comfortable, wonderful gym and rooftop. Definitely will stay again. Luz was the most outstanding hotel concierge I have ever encountered. She was worth the stay alone
