Nice Chelsea hotel, conveniently located
This was a family trip for our daughter to visit the nearby Fashion Institute of Technology in very chilly January. The staff was friendly and the room was cozy. Although it was clean and warm, it could use some cosmetic updates. The hotel is conveniently located by several restaurants, stores and subways. We had no problems finding a place to eat or shop for miscellaneous items. Breakfast bagels and muffins with coffee were provided specifically between 8-10 am. Otherwise no coffee maker in the room. If you wanted to eat in the dining area you could not do it before breakfast being served but okay in the evening.

The staff were super friendly, and the location was perfect for sightseeing and getting all over Manhattan. While the room amenities were older, and the bed was not super comfortable, I would absolutely stay here again. Our room had plenty of space for us and our luggage without it feeling cramped (no small thing in NYC!). The included breakfast was a big bonus for a family of four trying to see NYC without going bankrupt! Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay.

Mins away from at least 3 subway lines and 10 mins walk to Penn Station. Target, Whole Food Market and many other supermarkets are just round the corner. Lots of food options and watering holes around the hotel too. The rooms are very clean, but major improvements needed for the toilet. I struggled to drain the bathtub (lever to open the plug is broken, flow rate is low even when the plug is open). Lever for the shower appears to be faulty as well, as a result it was difficult to adjust the water temperature. For very light sleepers, noise could be a problem. Overall, I would choose to stay here in the future.

A estadia foi ótima. O hotel fica próximo à diversas linhas de metrô e a locomoção foi muito fácil. O serviço de limpeza foi muito eficiente. Apesar dos carpetes em todo o quarto, o ambiente cheirava muito bem, diferente de alguns hotéis que usam carpete e tem cheiro de mofo. Os funcionários são muito gentis. Ficaria hospedada novamente com certeza.

Pros: Subway stations right at the corner. Target on the same block. Great location overall. Rooms bigger than a lot of NYC rooms. Cons: very dated rooms. Single hard mattress. Breakfast was limited and boring. Bagels and muffins with coffee. No toaster to toast the bagels or good creamers. No microwave or coffee in room. Blow dryer very weak.
