Despite the reviews online, this was actually a great little hotel. I was here for a conference in town for 5 nights. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful. The day we arrived we got to the hotel at 9am and they offered to store our luggage for us so we could head to the city centre and shop. We arrived back around 2pm and they were able to accomodate an early check in for us which was very helpful. The rooms are small and have no closet or dressers so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. That was really the only downside. We had a small fridge in our room and microwave (didnt request it). Bed and pillows were comfy. We brought an Amazon firestick for more viewing options on the Tv and the internet was OK. but cant really complain for the price. bathroom was clean but small. I would say more than two people in a room would be a bit chaotic.
Morning breakfast was fine. Nothing to write home about but decent enough to save you $25 going somewhere to eat. They have a waffle maker, fridge with yogurt or muffins, cereal, a small chaffer of eggs, sausages and tater tots, a toaster with bread and bagels to toast, juice machine and coffee/tea.
I was a bit concerned after booking when i read the reviews but im honestly very happy with the accommodatio. My mom has a bad knee so we had to Uber most places but I could have easily walked to time squar from here in about 15 minutes.
Target is a 5-7 minute walk away and we ate at Scruffys Irish pub several times.
