Won’t stay here again

Seeing a rat run through the bar / restaurant not a good start, room was tiny for two of us, lots of noise from other rooms even hearing the lift call bell. Chances of getting the lift / elevator in the morning slim to none unless you wait 20-30 minutes. Location whilst central feels very unsafe particularly in the evenings

This was my first time in NY and I wanted that was centrally located to most tourist attractions, and this property was a perfect match! Times Square and most of the theaters were within walking distance. The bus terminal center is up the street and there are some subway stations nearby as well! I had an early arrival and the front desk kept me up to date as to when a room became available! Madeline (Front Desk) and Carlos (Bellman) were amazing and made the whole check-in process a breeze! I’ll definitely be coming back to NY and this property will be my top choice!

A mediocre stay at Doubletree in NYC.

The stay was OK. The room was too small. So tiny that the bathroom door did not open completely it touch the toilet. The three night we were there we had no hit water at all.

The customer service from the team was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for and welcome at each step of checkin, concierge and throughout our stay.

The front area remained cold the entire weekend. The staff seemed challenged with the Saturday breakfast rush. The staff person asked for a party of 4 but refused to take a party of 3. The party of 3 sat at a party of 4 table. Friday afternoon check in was delayed but we received complimentary drinks at the bar. The rooms were cleaned well but the towels were old and one had tears on it. We do like the location and everyone was nice. We will be back next year even though you don’t have queen size beds. I do understand the rooms are small. The bathrooms are small for a family with kids. Thanks!!

The staff wasn't very friendly, especially a lady named Dominique. When we asked her for water, she replied, “Water is carried up from downstairs.” I asked how long it would take, and she just said, “Not sure,” in a low tone and seemed quite unhelpful. Also, for such a large hotel, the elevators are very slow. We usually had to wait through 2 to 4 rounds before we could get in.

The quality was sub par, rooms were small and the air quality in the room was poor. Rooms were dirty and the wall covering was peeling and discolored in the bathrooms. They instruct you to inform an hour prior to receiving your valet only to have to wait an additional hour to bring my vehicle.
