Justin in the front really tried to make my friend and I’s experience worth while. Although he was great and helped us have a better experience. The first room we got was not clean. The bathroom wasn’t clean at all. Bad first impression. We went down to tell the front that it was dirty and needed to be cleaned and showed her pictures that showed how dirty the bathroom really was. She said that all the maids left. And then offered us drink vouchers to have free drinks at the bar (definitely not a way to resolve a situation where the room wasn’t even cleaned) we politely declined the offer. We were told that someone could possibly clean it in a bit. We waited an hour and went down to the front, showed the front desk worker (not the lady) the room. He agreed and said that it was dirty and unacceptable to have a room like that and accommodated us with another room. The second room was visibly clean and actually smelled clean. Overall there needs to be more maintenance on that building. When it comes down to rooms, service, and even food. Not the best experience at all for the price you pay.

Hotel is very nice, BUSY, rooms are clean but SMALL, bathroom was clean but the floor gets extremely wet when taking a shower. I like that the front desk agent text asking if everything is ok and if there is anything needed. For a weekend stay I would stay at the Doubletree again

The location was ideal for my needs. This was my first trip to New York and I was pleasantly surprised that once you got into your room, we could not hear the hustle and bustle that was happening outside.

I checked in and checked out of the hotel on the very same evening - my room was that disgusting - and I was told it was one of the newer, nicer rooms in the hotel. It was very dirty. Sharing this directly because not only should Expedia know this for a hotel they are recommending, but so should others booking.

Many areas In desperate need of. Elevators with broken rails, lobby area behind desk with broken or malfunctioning lights. Room with security safe needing batteries, door to bathroom off its track. what wasn’t broken in guest room was poor design, like closet drawers that are 12 inches deep. Premium price for a poorly maintained property.

No AC & they tried to fix 3x & then swapped our room after complaining & boiler went out & couldn't shower. Beds were hard...just NOT what i expected for a Double Tree Hotel! Very Disappointed!!!

When we arrived, the hotel staff was not very friendly. They were rude and seemed to be taking advantage of us by checking us in. However, AGM Jot was very helpful and resolved the hot water issue professionally. The staff needs some training on customer service. The hotel rooms are also quite small. We’re from hotel background and this hotel needs more improvements. Front desk staff are rude!!! It’s not just one person, we have noticed couples of staff member who were rude to us. Hilton needs to work on this hotel.

Not the worst, but definitely not giving luxury. The staff kept it frosty (smiles and warmth must’ve been on backorder) and there were a few unexpected walk-ins like I accidentally booked a room on Big Brother. I was moved to a different room midway through my stay and felt rushed out of the original one like I worked there, not like a paying guest. Both rooms were okay, but definitely in need of upgrades—peeling wallpaper, dingy caulk in the bathroom, and other signs of wear and tear. Still, the location was clutch and I did sleep great, so I’m not mad, just mildly inconvenienced. Would I stay again Honestly, yeah. I’m not above it. Just hoping by then they’ve lit a candle, patched the walls, and discovered customer service.
