We requested a handicap accessible room. The room was fully equipped with an accessible entry door, a roll under sink, and a raised toilet with grab bars. However, the shower/tub was virtually inaccessible. The tub had a very high side, there were no grab bars inside, the floor of the shower/tub was slippery, the only "seat" was the window ledge, which felt very risky. Entry to the shower/tub was handled with the assistance of a chair and the individual's spouse. The area around the hotel was typical mid-town Manhattan, however, the hotel was under remodeling construction limiting unloading, entry, and elevator access.

Hotel was very clean and updated, staff were great. We did not like the fact that they charged us $50 for water and coffee for 3 days and the hotel was under renovations. It just took away from a great experience in NYC.

Perfect Location and top notch staff
In my opinion, this is the perfect location for a trip to NYC. They were doing construction, so there was a little bit of a wait for the elevator at times. Everything else was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and freshly remodeled. Service was impeccable. The steakhouse downstairs was great. You're steps away from the library on one side or grand central on the other... it was a dream.

Bathroom was extremely cold despite heater. Shower door (half) allowed water to collect near toilet and was drafty and would rub against the toilet stool when opened. Felt chilly like when I was using a shower stall at a camp ground. Room temp was cold despite changing the thermostat. Limited outlets for phone charging.-- need lamps to have charging ports so I would not have to charge my phone and watch in the bathroom - placing on sink. Construction was inconvenient - especially for shuttle deliver and pick up -- but this was expected. Bed and pillows were very comfortable but needed more blankets. Wore my sweater to bed due to being so cold at night. Water was hot -- thank you! Hotel personnel friendly and helpful!

Convenient, clean, quiet midtown hotel
Convenient place for Grand Central and midtown. Took a minute to find the entrance (go into the steakhouse). High ceilings, good bed (one liked it, one thought it too soft), clean.

Property is undergoing major renovation so hard to comment as clearly things are changing. If you need a place to lay your head, you can expect fun themed rooms that can offer a bit of an escapism experience. My room was a bit over the top, a science and renaissance conjunction theme. Service ranged from clearly being busy with the remodel to genuinely friendly and everything in between. Obviously great location if traveling, not a lot open late nights though!

Front desk agents are nice! Dante worked in the morning is very kind and Uriel is kind too, so helpful! I enjoyed stay here, Dylan hotel is so great! Makes my holiday warm!
