hotel was okay they nickel and dime you all the way from resort fee to the price gouging on theater tickets. the hotel claims they have nothing to do with ticket sales but that's flat out lie. talked with some manager who lied about the sales acted like he was going to do something another lie just to get me to go away on average they gouge everyone buy around 100 bucks per ticket and most theaters sell ticket on site .they have people from all over world and this hotel cheats them all

Unique hotel centrally located in Midtown Manhattan with all the perks and amenities. Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, friendly staff, excellent restaurants onsite. This will be my go to hotel when I travel to New York from now on!

Great location for Time Square / Broadway sites. Friendly staff with classic, vibrant atmosphere. Breakfast coupon(s) were very handy with a variety of options and never a wait to be seated. Rum bar off the lobby had sweet jazz and blues music along with delicious drinks. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it delivered everything it advertised and exceeded expectations in many areas.

Edison is a great hotel to stay at if you want to be close to Times Square. I think the room price is reasonable and the proximity to food and entertainment is great. However, parking is the worst. They charge $75 to par per night there where it used to only be $55 for a four door sedan.

Hotel is beautiful. However bathroom is very small, like you’ll touch the side of the shower no matter how small you are. Our first night the fire alarm went off 3 separate times and all “false alarms”. Still jarring at 1am. Grab & go breakfast was decent however the staff was a bit rude when making decisions. Bed is comfortable and housekeeping did a great job. Close to Times Square and in walking distant to most things including Grand Central.

A great choice if you're on a theater binge. Easy walking distance to most all the theaters, lots of restaurants nearby, and a feeling of being part of the Broadway magic. I've already stayed there twice in the last couple years and will again.

It's a good hotel but I regret that there arent bigger and brighter lamps in the room to help with lighting. We need one extra Big lamp in the room to help with brightening the room

The lobby area is nice but the actual accomodations are basic. The cleaning staff were outside my door at 8 am blabbing away loud enough to wake me. I dont mean just a few sentences - I mean like they were having conversations laughing it up. Had to literally get up and let them know some of us are sleeping. It ruined my sleep and was tired the rest of the day after going to bed at 3am. there was no view. The air conditioner could not be turned off so I pulled out the plug which also pulled the whole plug out of the wall. It was clean tho, just basic. That floor was being worked on so had to go thru unkept area. They promoted a discount on expedia which they simply took back on a surcharge so it was silly. next time i'll just go straight to the $200 a night hotel. hopefully it will be adequate.
