A Quick check was the best part
The room size was fine but the bed was too hard, they had plastic over the mattress and a thin sheet over that. The plastic was gross the pillow cases were too small for the pillows. The view out the window was of the fire esacape of the bldg across from us. Only 4 hangers in the small wardrobe. The bathroom had a blow dryer and soap and shampoo and conditioner. The tile in the shower was falling out and the grout needed a deeper clean. The room was sound proof and it did have great blackout drapes. The breakfast included was a selection of good bakery and starbucks coffee and offered juice, yogurt and bananas. That was about it. I would not stay here again.

Great hotel! Excellent location close to Penn Station, close to the subway, beautiful street with the flower shops, the room was vey clean and comfortable, coffee with the fresh pastry in the morning, very quiet, has elevators. I definitely recommend..

Nice, efficient, and welcoming atmosphere. Because of some construction on site, we missed the Mykonos restaurant on the roof but are looking forward to dining there again on another occasion. The continental breakfast was a bit skimpy for someone like my husband who likes eggs and/or granola, but it was fine for me who just drinks coffee and eats a small yogurt.

This hotel should only be selected for the area it is in. The rooms themselves are basic, boring, and in need of significant refreshment or repairs. The climate control in the room made plenty of noise but no difference in the room temperature. The toilet made noises all the time. The shower sputtered out water and was not adjustable. There was one for machine for the entire hotel and it wasn’t working. Instead of offering a solution, I was told I could go buy a bag of ice at the corner store. No glassware or silverware available at all. Everything was noisy and the service was less than you’d receive at a budget hotel. The worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the city by far and ONLY worth booking simply for the area and nothing else. I won’t stay here again.

The Hotel was in the floral district of Manhattan. The distance between the subway and restaurants are a short walk. The room had working air conditioning, hot water and somewhat comfortable bed. Other than that, the room was less then desirable with cracks in the ceiling of washroom, probably due to no working fans. If this was a 4star, id hate to see what a 3star is.
