Comfy room, generally, and great rooftop lounge in a central location, with pleasant staff. However, a resort fee of almost $50/night is required on arrival, inflating costs over a room prepaid through Exp- etc. [the hotel's own app also buries this add-on]. They have a sign at the check-in desk about the extra fee but by that time you've paid non-refundable hundreds. Good that NYState is addressing this scammy practice.
Rooms are well-appointed except for dim lighting (teeny window without privacy so no help there). One night, neighbors' pot smoke came in through the ventilation system, waking me up. Also, the high-placed smoke detector shoots periodic blinking light into the mix of electronic lights present. These bounce around the many reflective surfaces. This is not uncommon in many hotels now so I came prepared with a sleep mask. Overall we would have considered returning, but the hidden "resort fee" left a bad taste and added $100 to our 2-night stay.
