Great stay!

This hotel is beautiful and in a good location. Mins away from everything. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooftop was beautiful and had great views. Only thing that bothered me was that we had a random visit from maintenance stating they were installing some type of security system in our room with no notice. We initially thought it was a scam but when confirmed with front desk they said it was legit and it was a safety feature for their employees. I just thought and felt odd that 1. why not give us a proper notice and 2. why not do it when the room is vacant. All was good and the trip and stay went well. I would stay here and recommend you give them a try too!

Staff was very unhelpful and I’ve never heard of a hotel with no microwave lots of food gone to waste unfortunately and they would refuse to get us a new room when there was zero hot water? They just said they’ll send up an engineer to take a look 4 different times until we finally complained on how ridiculous it is that they couldn’t fix it two days of cold showers is insane

Staff member barged into our room at 1 am. We were asleep because we had an early flight - turns out another room had flooding. Instead of just turning away when no one answered (again it’s 1 am) he decided to open the door? Now this would have turned out differently if we could lock out door - but our lock wouldn’t work! So for that it ruined the hotel experience. Notified staff; they did nothing. Tried to get management and they never called back. Also the safe didn’t work in our room. Please get doors that lock and instruct your staff to not barge in for non-emergencies when people don’t answer the door. Thanks !

Decent hotel with a lovely rooftop bar

The hotel was in a good location and staff were very accomodating, the rooftop bar was exceptional and I have no major complaints. That said the first aid kit was needed on the stay and it was insufficiently stocked on what could have been a medical emergency. The tap was not working on arrival and the room was quite small, but that is par for course in New York. If the price was right I will definitely stay again.

Meh

It was NYC so we expected it to be expensive and cramped, which it was. The room was meh. Not great, not bad. The bed was too soft for our liking, but we like firm mattresses. We spent three nights and slept pretty well. The best parts were the location and roof-top bar. It is rated as one of the best roof-top bars in New York, and we saw why -- great views of Empire State and more. We would go back, but we wouldn't rush back.

This was the best hotel I searched forever for. Chic, clean and safe. The only hiccup I will say is the elevators are so fast they do make you feel dizzy. However can be easily over looked because the location is everything the staff are super nice and friendly and accommodating within reason when they can! I highly recommend everyone go here!

The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The late night front agent could have been more attentive and helpful. The rooms could use microwaves also. Also the iron in my room damaged my clothes. Other than that the location and price were right.
