The hotel lobby smelt amazing, I did not get a chance to see the top floor as I had my son with me and it was late but will go back again. The cafe in the lobby was good and convenient, the rooms had great beds and were clean and nicely decorated. I left some stuff in the closet by accident and house keeping kept it and gave it to lost and found and provided me with a code for easy pick up. All in all it was a great hotel. Great service, superb location. I did ask for a special request prior to check in. Was not received. Elevators super slow! And please put ice machines on each floor. Maybe a little tacky for an elegant hotel but convenient.

Park Lane - bad and unfortunate- NO AC
Arrived at the hotel and the lobby felt like a sauna. Was informed at check out -NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE AND THE CHECK IN PERSON TOLD ME THIS SITUATION HAS BEEN HAPPENING ALL SUMMER- that the A/C wasn’t working in the hotel. I asked if it was being fixed- since I was staying 4 nights and his response was- NO- “they don’t fix anything around here- this place is a dump”. My flight was delayed for 8 hours due to weather. I arrived at the hotel at 2 am so had no other choice but to stay. When I went up to my room the temperature was 86 degrees on the thermostat!! I unfortunately had to stay 2 nights but checked out early once I found other accommodations. DO NOT STAY HERE

Staff was super friendly under trying conditions. The AC was not fully functional and the Elevators were slow due to several being out of commission. Great view of central park on rooftop restaurant.

Great location on Central Park south and near two subway stations. However they don’t have Do Not Disturb signs and every day house keeping tried to enter my room while we were in the room even after I told them that we did not want any service.
