The staff were super nice, attentive, and friendly. Mr. Cunningham, the manager was an excellent host. Ms. Evyah, the restaurant hostess was attentive. Mr. Thomas the night time front receptionist was helpful. Ms. Amy, Ms. Lilly, Mr. Brian, Mr. Douglas, and Maximo the bartenders, were friendly! We had a great experience and enjoyed ourselves. Just home from an amazing week at The Westin, our room was always kept spotless, we had an amazing view of the Empire State Building and the room had loads of space in it. All the staff we encountered were friendly and willing to help you. There is a resort fee to stay here (common in America/New York) but in exchange they let you have breakfast or drinks vouchers which I thought was great! Location is excellent, just along from Grand Central station, Chrysler building and Summit. I really hope we get to come back to New York and if we do The Westin will be our first choice! Thank you all for an amazing week in New York!

The front desk staff as well as housekeeping are fantastic! They were very customer-focused, personable, & went above & beyond. My only negative is about access to food. In room dining is not offered on the weekends. Additionally, the restaurant menu is ridiculously limited. During our Dec stay, for example, we were told no hot beverages are available after 10am b/c those are only offered during breakfast. I was shocked, particularly given we stayed at a Westin.

We had a wonderful stay here at Christmas arriving Christmas Day! We spoke with the concierge a couple of times who was extremely helpful. The tax gives you two drinks per day or breakfast tickets for twice during your stay, we chose the breakfast and there was plenty of choice, it does get busy as it’s a small restaurant area but if you are up and down handy then there is no wait. The coffee was delicious and plenty of hot and cold options. Our room was lovely with a fab view of the Crysler building but this put us at the front of the hotel, this was fine but for some reason you could smell cigarettes smoke coming through the heating vents into the room. Not sure if this was from outside or other guests. We had a coffee machine in the room and shower gels in the bathroom. Bed were comfortable but we had to call down for the bedding for the fold out bed which took some time to be delivered. Overall we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book to come back!
