So when i got to my room i checked the bathroom and there was hair in the shower. I immediately called housekeeping and they sent someone within minutes. However, that employee came in and blamed “the women” for not cleaning correctly. He called hisself cleaning the shower and when i checked, it still had hair in the shower. At that point i just went to the cvs down the street and cleaned the room myself. Other than that, Microwave was locked after 11pm and i couldnt warm my leftovers. So that was a bit inconvenient as well.

Nice location, easy walk within few blocks to rockefeller, grand central. The rooms are small. The pull out sofa outdated very uncomfortable for anyone to sleep on, if you are planning to use it as we did.

Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Only downside was even though the hotel was recently renovated, it still had an old feel. But the staff, from front desk to the bell men, door men and housekeepers were all very pleasant. Great staff.

It was a nice quiet, boutique hotel. It was also in a great location. My family and. I walked everywhere- walked to Bryant park, Empire State, grand central train station, Times Square, rocker fella center, fifth avenue, Central Park, etc… everywhere and had a great time doing it

There was a large inconsistency with the friendliness of the staff. Some were super helpful but many were downright rude. I realize we were staying there the week after a major holiday, so I'm sure everyone was running on fumes. The room was extremely dark and overpriced. The bed was not comfortable and the water temperature in the bathroom was near impossible to stay steady.

Everything was such a great experience. The location was perfect for going out and exploring the city. The area felt very safe. The hotel room was comfortable and the bar was great. I really liked the bartender there named Nick who was very kind but also knowledgeable on drinks. The price was also very fair. We will be back!
