Room and staff were excellent. Problems: 1. Name confusion - web does not clearly state there are two Holiday Inns at Newark Airport, which I knew, but the differences in the names were not clear. I thought they both were named Holiday Inn Express, but was wrong. Worse, the driver of the Holiday Inn Express did not understand either. I told him we wanted the property at 160 Frontage Road, but he took us to the Holiday Inn Express in Elizabeth City. We had to have him drive us back to the airport P3 location to get the right bus to Holiday Inn IHG. Also food in IHG restaurant Apple Bacon salad was bad. Had to send it back for a Caesar salad. Also there was a loud and rowdy bunch celebrating on floor 7. I was so tired I fell asleep anyway. The bed was great. As was the wake up call. The room was so good it makes up for the problems we had. Clearly state the exact name of both Holiday Inns and addresses on your websites and educate your drivers. There was a warning taped on the shuttle van, but addresses were not on the warning.

Again Benjamin was wonderful we were able to recheck in before 11am to keep our room since we extended our stay but had originally paid for a non-refundable room so we just placed another reservation. Only negative we really had was all 3 elevators seemed a little iffy and definitely felt like something would give way each time we took them..would've taken the stairs but we were on the top floor. Otherwise everything wemt great!

The room that I was GIVEN was for a disabled person therefore since I am NOT disabled, I feel I should have been asked if I’m okay to take a room for a disabled person OR better yet, I should have been told that quite possibly it was the only room available. To top it off, I could not control the temperature in the room. It was set and could not be adjusted! Thankfully, I was only staying one night! I gave this 2 stars because if you have a view on the side of the hotel facing the DoubleTree next door, you get to see all of the planes landing on that side of the airport! On the flip side of that, if you have a view on the opposite side, you get to see the prisoners hanging in the “yard”, just saying!

The hotel was easy to locate and was close to our destination. The parking was a bit hectic because of the snow but we made it work and parked in the back which was closer to the elevator so it worked out better. The staff was on point and answered the questions I had. I’d definitely book again if I have to stay in Newark.
