Please keep away from this motel , first of all the smell is too strong i couldn’t sleep and second there were a mouse in my room and I was by myself over there with 7 month’s pregnant

Very good Hotel and convenient. Not new Hotel. Shuttle is good, but need to call them to pick you up, so, anyone that has no cellphone working on NY would be difficukt to get there, but overall works great.

We would rather sleep in the airport terminal
we booked two rooms out of desperation after flight delay. spent 3 seconds inside the doorway of a room and knew we couldn't sleep there. musty smell in room, BUGS (roaches) crawling on the beds, thin comforters with cigarette burns in them, I got grossed out just standing in the space. then while we waited for the uber to pick us up, it was obvious this is rent by the hour kind of hotel, many cars in/out with sex workers. made the reservations without looking at the review numbers. can't believe this place is listed.

Super expensive price for a very shady hotel. Front counter guy was polite, but it is definitely an unsafe environment. Please do not ever bring your kids to this hotel.

Vending machine "refused" my credit card but charged my account anyway, without delivering product. As a result, my bank detected fraud and blocked my card. Room furnishings damaged. Severe, unrepaired water damage to woodwork. Toilet seat broken. No towel bars -- seriously? How hard is it to screw a couple cheap towel bars to the wall?

Cockroaches! All the rooms smell like cigarettes and are grimy. If you have to choose between sleeping at the airport and staying here… stay at the airport!

Only as a last resort measure.
Not what one would describe as a 'safe area' or surroundings. Regarding the room, desperate times, desperate measures... 1.) Only smoking rooms were available...this one definitely of weed. 2.) Deadbolt on the door missing/removed and safety chain barely attached. 3.) TV did not work. 4.) Tub had running water at the faucet, but the showerhead did not work, and no means of plugging the drain for a bath.

They are rude the rooms does not look like the picture. The refrigerator doesn’t work. The tv only had one channel. The a/c unit had a bird nest. The door barely lock. I read the reviews on Expedia and this sounded like the worst hotel in the world. When I arrived, there was no-one at check-in. After several minutes I made a phone call to the motel, but it was not answered, then someone turned up. The hotel was OK - basic, normal Motel 6, and, to my amazement, there was a free shuttle, which duly dropped me off at Terminal A at 0420 the next morning - brilliant. The bar across the parking lot provided average food, good beer and superb service.

First, it was a struggle to get someone on the phone, we were trying to let them know we were arriving later than it was supposed to, and when we finally got someone to answer the agent was very rude. My friend asked him to repeat something because there was a glitch and he simply took a deep breath ans said "Oh my god! I cant be doing this, its been real busy here for me to be doing this". Of course we canceled our stay.

We were in Newark overnight because our flight was canceled. I have stayed at Motel 6 all over the country and they were all very nice. This one, however, was located in a very sketchy part of town. The interior appeared clean but was very old and needed a lot of maintenance. There was a sign on the door to make sure to lock the door, use the 3 locks provided “for our safety”. Sure didn’t make for a restful sleep.

Do not stay here. When we landed in Newark Airport, we called to get information on the airport shuttle, but the information on the automated message was wrong. When we finally got in touch with the front desk, everyone we talked to was unhelpful, and did not give us accurate information. When we got to our room, it was clear that it had not been cleaned. There was trash under the bed, and balls of hair on the floor. The bathroom shower was so unclean I refused to shower in it. There was a massive cockroach in the room. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. People played loud music for hours outside, and someone kept slipping paper in through our door. I would never stay here again.

The hotel provided shuttle service to and from the airport. Since our flight was cancelled due to a storm and we got rescheduled for the next day, all we needed was a place to sleep, no luggage nothing! We booked and called the hotel to inform them and the rep. informed ua where to go. Where we waited and waited. We waited for about 45 minutes then we decited to take the taxi since it was only 7 minutes away. We checked in only to realize, no one was coming to get us, the shuttle parked in the lot, no driver. The room was to our expency for Motel 6, but the bathroom...you need to leave the door open to use the toilet if you got a corner unit and your tall.
