Firstly, kudos to the nice young lady that checked us in, she should be considered for a raise or seek employment with a hotel worthy of her talents and kindness.
The room was extremely dated, buckling, old red carpet, phone didn’t work (tried to call front desk, had to use my cell), only working outlet in the room was on one side of the bed. After 10 hour drive, just wanted hot shower and sleep. Shower temperature goes back and forth from ice cold to scalding hot. Our tub didn’t drain, by the time I was done, was standing in 5 inches of water. The towels were stained with holes. Reported the issues to the front desk, an older woman who was dismissive, said she would have some one come and fix. (we declined a room change, my husband has mobility issues and changing rooms would have been an undertaking). We stayed the second night, nothing fixed. Had to wait between showers in the morning for all of the water to drain out of the tub. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. Don’t stay here, spend the extra $30-$50 per night to stay somewhere that is worthy of hosting guests.
