Not a 4* hotel

Our experience has been very poor at this hotel. Their 4* is unjustified. Staff is not welcoming…no information nor explanation at our arrival.Wrong advertisement: flyer at the front desk promises free summer activities such as pickle ball (see picture) to find out we had to go through a third party website and pay 34$ for 90 mins. Room was outdated and patch-up done very poorly. Good points: overall clean and mattresses were comfortable.

The bed was not very comfortable, the bar in the hotel took so long to serve us. It was a really busy weekend and the hotel looked dirty, lots of trash in halls. The outside balcony was in bad shape and needed paint. The shower didn’t have a separate shower head and the bath was not in good shape.

weekend in the townships

i stayed at Manoir des Sables for a couples weekend getaway. The area is very pretty with lots of mountains and lakes. The hotel has lots to offer ,in the terms of kayaks and canoes, for free. They have bikes for free also , but they are in sad shape. The room is nice but it had the smallest hotel bed , i have ever seen. I thought at least it would have a queen bed. i was given free drink coupons because of hotels.com , but when i went to use them on Sunday I was told the bar was closed for the day, which i thought was strange considering that the hotel was pretty full. They gave me 2 warm beers , instead. I had checked out Monday morning and it is now 5 days later and I am still waiting for $100 security deposit to be taken off my credit card. There is also a charge for $10 from the hotel on my credit card for no apparent reason. I called the hotel to ask what this was for and i was told they would take it off. No reason why it was put on to begin with . I am still waiting 2 days later for it to be taken off.

Hotel un peu vieillot, mais excellent quand même. Nous y retournerons. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Piscines et spas très agréables. Très belle situation, calme. Très bon déjeuner. Personnel professionnel, sympathique et efficace.

Weekend in Orford

Weekend getaway. Hotel is in a very pretty location The hotel has a lot to offer in the way of golf and water activities, like kayaking and paddle boards , which are free. Couple of negative things are that the bar is closed on Sunday , for some strange reason. The air conditioning unit could really use an upgrade. It sounds a lot like a jet engine. The eco friendliness old be better , considering all the toiletries come in very small plastic containers.

We as a family enjoyed our stay but the door to the bathroom in our room will not close. I asked for blanket 2 times an finally at 11:30 after my 3 call I got it. The towel was really old. And by the poor they should have towel not everytime going and asking for towel rogo swim.
