The Restaurant was closed and the kerig coffee awful. The fireplace room was cozy and great view of Orford. Front staff very helpful. Bring your own coffee maker and coffee, cream etc long walk or drive to get takeout in the am.

Room was clean and spacious. Lights we too dark and there was no light for the kitchenette area which made preparing anything very difficult. I would add a proper table to the room that you can sit at with at least two proper chairs. We didn't need an office chair.

À l'arrivée, j'ai été surprise de voir que le corridor qui menait à ma chambre était vraiment sale, le tapis était jonché de saletés (nourriture, miettes de toute sorte, et autres saletés) En entrant dans ma chambre, une forte odeur d'oeufs pourris ou de moisissure se dégageait de la salle de bain. Le commis a été gentil et apres avoir constaté l'odeur, m'a donné une autre chambre qui était ok. Elle semblait propre, mais le balais avait surement été passé rapidement car des papiers de bonbons étaient encore au sol près du divan... Le lit n'était pas confortable et j'ai très mal dormi. De plus il n'y avait aucune option de restauration, ni dejeuner sur place, tout était fermé, il fallait aller au village pour manger. J'avais choisi cet endroit en grande partie pour avoir un foyer et tant mieux, il était fonctionnel, mais une seule bûche était à ma disposition alors ce fut de courte durée. La vue était très belle, j'aurais aimé en me levant mettre une bûche dans le foyer et prendre un café devant la vue, mais j'avais utilisé la bûche la veille et il faisait quand même froid dans la chambre... J'avais prévu rester une nuit de plus mais j'ai changé d'idée devant la situation, et suis parti dès 8am. Le tapis du corridor était aussi sale que la veille! Dommage.. j'ose croire que ce n'est pas la norme à cet endroit, mais je suis mal tombée...

Les lits ne sont vraiment pas confortables. Le fond de la baignoire est noire et le bouton pour activer la douche m'a resté dans la main en le levant. Les 2 spas l'eau étaient grises et il y avait des bibittes dans le sauna. On est partis à 3h AM en raison de l'inconfort des lits. 2 étoiles serait jugé généreux. C'est vraiment domage parce que c'est un très bel hôtel mais malheureusement on ne retournera jamais là bas.
