We chose the Double Tree for its proximity to the parks, as we had never been to Orlando and knew very little about the area. The staff were cheery and the foyer was bright, clean and cool. Check in was quick and painless. There appeared to be a lot of parking available ($). The room was pleasantly decorated, neutral tones with pops of color. It felt spacious and welcoming. The large windows provided a bright and scenic view. The beds were comfortable, dressed with multiple pillows and classic white bedding which was clean and crisp. The room has plenty of storage, a large television, a mini fridge, a small coffee maker (we did not use it), ironing board, hairdryer, a safe, and a small reading chair. The ice machine was on the same floor. The bathrooms, while well worn, were serviceable (the flushing of the toilet could wake the dead). The nook was well stocked with various size towels. The showers' wall mounted dispensers were filled with crabtree products. The shower head could use a deep clean. The sprawling single sink vanity provided plenty of room for toiletries. The main pool was large, with plenty of various types of seating and tables ...there is a lot more to say but this platform only allows 1500 characters.
