Didn’t know a Hilton can be ghetto but this one was we left for a bit dropped the ac too 65 degrees we came back like 3-4hrs later and it’s still hot they changed the room mine you the maintenance guy was nice front desk at night NO. Went into the second room SAME HOT HOT I was over it and just slept in the hot room and left In the morning ASAP

The property is conveniently located near UCF. The first room had an overwhelming odor. They immediately assigned a different room, which was near the elevator and we could hear it throughout the night. There were cracked restroom tiles, peeling/bubbling wall texture in the restroom, and the air conditioner was very noisy. We asked for a different room and the front desk would not change it, even though they had customers checking out that day. We left a message for management and they never contacted us. We have stayed at 3 Hiltons near UCF recently. Despite the convenient location of this one, we will never stay here again.

I hate to give a negative review when the employees were as helpful as they could be. First off, our key cards didn’t work. Got new ones which worked. We went out in the evening. Again, our key cards didn’t work (they worked to get us into the hotel after hours but not for our room). Got new ones which worked. While we were gone someone used our room. They left a tshirt, one dirty sock, two wet towels, a dirty hand towel, and bizarrely a pair of glasses. The glasses were on the bedside table. Couldn’t tell if they’d used the bed. Nothing was stolen. The night staff put us in another room. Not sure if they couldn’t reach a manager (none were onsite at night) or what the deal was but they couldn’t give us key cards to the new room. Breakfast was comped and in the morning the manager gave us some Hilton Honors points, I think enough for one free night. This is the second time a Hilton in Florida has been not great (by TPA, there was visible mold in the a/c unit). Hiltons in other parts of the world are my go-to mid-price hotel, so I’m not sure what’s going on with the Florida Hiltons. Staff was friendly and helpful and I think the night staff were as freaked out as we were. Breakfast was pretty good.

There are so many other options in the UCF area that I have stayed at, and this property was by far the least clean. There was a roach walking on the floor of our room, which I recognize can happen but hasn’t at the other hotels in the area. Also, there were numerous dark hair strands on the tile portion of the floor when we arrived. We requested a different room but they were sold out due to UCF move-in. They stated they would have housekeeping come to clean it. Housekeeping came to our room while we were out, however it looked like they replaced towels but the dark strands were still on the tile uncleaned.

I booked a standard room with a king-size bed. When we arrived, the check-in process took longer than expected as the desk clerk conferred with a colleague before assigning us our room key. Upon entering the room on the second floor, we were immediately met with a musty, damp smell. Turning on the lights revealed a couple of roaches scurrying away. The room had two queen-sized beds, not the king-size bed we had reserved. Tired from a long day of moving, we initially decided to look past these issues and get some rest. However, further inspection of the room raised more concerns. The bedside table had a fresh water ring, suggesting recent use, and a hand towel in the bathroom appeared to have been used. We suspect the room had been reassigned before our arrival. Settling into bed, my wife soon had a frightening encounter - brushing a roach off her hair and finding another on the sheets. Turning the lights on revealed an infestation, with multiple roaches visible on the walls near the bed and in the bathroom. I immediately called the front desk to complain and request a new room, but was told the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. Faced with this unacceptable situation, we seriously considered sleeping in our car rather than spending the night in the infested room. However, with no other option and the late hour, we begrudgingly decided to stay, keeping the lights on all night to deter the roaches. It was a miserable experience, with barely any sleep.

American flag in front of the building was completely shredded. The lobby area and check in was fine. We were given the wrong size room. The carpet was coming apart in the room. The beds were not comfortable . We were placed by the elevators and had people stand outside our door talking loudly keeping us up. The toilet backed up in the room. Television in the room is so outdated there are no options but the regular tv channels.

Only One Night but...
This hotel is very close to UCF where we were dropping our son off to start his college adventure. We stayed only for one night but the staff at the front office was amazing! They helped us get settled after a long, long day.
