Our room needed updating, but we stayed for an extra night and got upgraded...that room was much better. I wish that was our first experience, but no harm. The ammenities are fabulous and there was a really cute pool boy working there! Great place for kids and family. Next time we will come in the spring so that the pool is a little warmer. The food was fantastic and the staff was excellent. The gardens and greens were stupendous. This was my first experience in a resort, so I would stay here again for sure but book the upgraded rooms or the suite(the suite was not available on expedia, but I only found out later that they had the suite available on their website).

The ambience at this hotel is great. Pool area is exceptional. Lakehouse lunch is okay but the breakfast is great. Very clean, spacious and convenient. Will come back again!!
