This was a great apartment. A few things were broken, but they were small things. It was close to transportation, great restaurants, and the fjord. Activities were all over the place, like the floating saunas and museums, and charters. Thank you so much.

The communication with the property is slight frustrating. But generally ok. The bit I’m not happy with it was, I need to take the rubbish to the general rubbish area when checked out. The apartment itself isn’t bad, good and clean. They are kind enough for me to leave my luggage at the office after checked out.

We very much enjoyed our stay due to the location of this property. It was very close to the opera house, the munch Museum, etc. The only issue we had was with the unit being uncomfortably warm due to the fact that the heat pump/heat exchanger could not produce temperatures inside on warm days. I would suggest adding ceiling fans to the rooms as way to improve the comfort level.

What I really didn’t like was the booking information from Expedia contradicted the email I received one week before our stay that threatened to cancel without immediate full payment. I had to spend hours trying to figure out if the email was a third party scam. Expedia said full payment at property at check in. Customer service at Expedia was difficult to access and wasted precious vacation time.

This was not what I expected. I will start out positively though, it was in a great area, close to many attractions and transportation. To begin, the detailed instructions on how to get to my actual apartment was lacking. General instructions were fine, but the actual apartment entrance was difficult to find. I asked three people and use my Google maps, it was very difficult. Being right next to the train station, it's very loud, as well as a strange buzzing sound inside the apartment literally every minute (timed). Lacked basics: Bathroom- no bath floor mats to absorb shower water spillage which leaked out from the shower stalls. Also no shelf to rest bath products on, and no bath garbage can. Bed-pillows were completely flat, no shelf to place items such as phone, charger, glasses. Kitchen- lacked hand towels, paper towels, and coffee. This apartment looks modern and clean, but without basic common sense necessities and comforts.. I would prefer to have stayed in a hotel.

Requested early check in, never received a response. Arrived early, stored luggage and was told apartment not ready, no problem. Arrived back at check in time, picked up luggage and given instructions and keys and told general area where apartment was. Quite a distance to walk with heavy luggage. One person very nice, the other was somewhat rude. Went to apartment, it was adequate. No soap or other toiletries, however we were able to wash a load of clothes. Good drying rack provided. Apartment had everything we needed. No air conditioner and it was hot. Opened windows, however it was very loud with street traffic and people talking and singing loudly in the middle of the night. Bed was not comfortable. Lumpy and shaky when you roll over. Pillows were so thin, you might as well just use the pillowcase. Wound up sleeping on the couch with the couch pillow. Windows face another apartment building, so not really much privacy unless the curtains are closed. Short walk to public transport and easy walk to train station. Hallway carpet was being cleaned and no ventilation, so even after cleaned, smelled like wet dog. Fortunately the smell did not penetrate the apartment. Overall the apartment was adequate and served its purpose. Probably a good deal for the money in expensive Oslo. Just don't expect the apartment to be as comfortable as it looks in the photos.

Bjorvika is a fabulous neighbourhood: we swam, sauna'ed, visited the Munch museum and the library, and biked everywhere, but the apartment was very basic and despite the pictures on the website it did not have a scenic view. Despite the rental agreement, the wifi was not working and the company was slow to address this. For the last two days of our week, we could access wifi only in the entrance using the password to a modem in a nearby apartment. I'm not sure I would use the rental company again, but I would stay in this neighbourhood again.

We rented two 2BR apartments. They were meticulously clean and very well located close to the main Oslo train station and Opera House, with a tram stop one block away. Many food and drink options nearby as well. Cost was reasonable for quality of location and spaciousness of apartment. But do not expect amenities of a hotel. We were comfortable with the self-catering and were not disappointed with that. Even still, there were some drawbacks. While the guest information suggests leaving windows closed and relying on the ventilation system, there was no air moving, making the apartments very stuffy on warm days above 70. The managers provided a fan on request and with windows open it was more comfortable, if a bit noisy. One apartment had no wifi connection and communication by phone proved impossible - we called and requested assistance but never received a return call. Emails were handled but rather slowly. We only received reset instructions after we had checked out two nights after arrival. Our other complaint was that bed pillows were very flimsy and one per bed so sleeping was not comfortable between outdoor noise and bedding.

The flat is nice and the location is great. The balcony is realy nice. However the bed was a too soft, and the pillows were very chesp : much to thin and without any support. We called the office as soon as we got to the apartment at around 4 PM to get an extra pair of pillows. The guy at the office told us it was too late to bring some more that day since the housekeeper way gone, wich we could undestand. He assured us we will get an extra pair the next dat. We never got them…

I loved this property. For me it was so central and close to the waterfront. Great selection of food options for example cafes and restaurants plus great grocery stores nearby. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would recommend this property to anyone without a second thought.

We arrived and hauled our luggage to the office to pick up the apartment keys. The office was unattended because it was late on a Sunday. We tried to find the location id to enter after clicking the sharebox link but that didn't work so we called the after hours number. A friendly helpful security man directed us to a building around the cornrer. So we hauled our luggage there found the location Id and the sharebox opened. We now had to find the apartment with the aid of a hand drawn map. To cut a long story short we again hauled our luggage around the opera area for some time before eventually finding the apartment. Everyone we spoke to from the Bjorvika team for assistance was friendly and helpful but I don't see how this could have been anything but an awkward check-in.

Lovely apartment.
Pros- - [ ] Beautifully decorated and spacious welcoming apartment - [ ] Lovely open views throughout the whole apartment which was beautiful with everything covered in snow (this was a pleasant surprise as pictures on selling site did not do the views justice ) - [ ] Spacious balcony , both in living and bedroom area - [ ] Great central location - [ ] Shower is really spacious and powerful - [ ] Got all the kitchen equipment you need to clean, and cook etc - [ ] There was only two pillows and one heater, but I asked if I could have more pillows and an additional heater and by the time I got back to the apartment they was there waiting for me :) - [ ] Bed is really comfortable with great views. - [ ] Check out experience was smooth, we just had to leave the keys on the side. Cons- - [ ] Check in experience- having to walk all the way to the office to get the keys then walk another 10 minutes to the actual apartment.Also when following the location on google maps it taken us to the back door, it was not until I rang them to ask why they was not answering they explained that I was at the back door and not the main door. I could have done with this information prior. - [ ] Not often I’ve gone to an apartment without the basic shampoo and body wash for showering - [ ] Smart telly does not work well with connecting your phone and opening your apps, I think it needs updating. - [ ] The WiFi barcode on the door does not work, you actually have to connect to the inter
