This use to be the place to stay. Front desk staff were lazy and didn't show any manners or interest in the customer. Spider we and bugs in one corner of the room near the ceiling. I was really looking forward to my stay but very disappointed. But I know no one cares and this will fall on deaf ears and the customer is never right. Different standards now I guess

They should warn you that when you pay for a lakeview room on the weekend, there is essentially an outdoor patio that turns into a nightclub and you cannot sleep.

Barking Parrot Pub excellent food & drinks, 5th floor room with lake front view was just fine needs some updating but patio was what I cared about! Early check in was a bonus and the beach area wonderful! Would definitely go back, location couldnt be better!

The property was nice and convenient. Loved how close it was to the main part of Penticton and walking distance. If someone just wants to come and chill at the property and not really go anywhere else which is what we wanted to do but you need better food options. The Parrot needs to change up their menu and have some more options. The live band on Sunday was the highlight of our trip. The beach is supposed to be a private beach for hotel guests only, correct? Well during our stay people were coming in from the public beach and using the facilities. We saw this all 3 days we were there and at one point someone even took our chairs that had our stuff on it when we were in the water, so angry!!! This was supposed to be a relaxing getaway for my husband and myself this was very annoying. The kids sitting at the front table as you enter the beach area; well what exactly is their job other than handing out towels, they don't even check if the people entering are hotel guest or not. Anyone can come and rent a boat there even if your not a hotel guest then you can sneak onto the private beach as know one is checking anything. On our last day a family of 8 rented a pontoon the same time we were going out on a boat once they returned they snuck into the beach from the public side. They were NOT hotel guests as they told us while waiting for our boat, they drove from Kelowna for the day. You need to do a better job managing your private beach. Thx
