Our room smelled really bad, like basement mildew and was very clammy and damp. The bathroom door and closet door could barely close because it was so warped...probably because of the moisture in the room. I felt like I was staying in someone's basement.

A very nice, comfortable, low-keyed establishment.
It is a very nice, reasonably priced hotel close to Hwy 53 and I94, central to Eau Claire, with many dinner options and shopping close by.

I booked two rooms for one night and after checking in I went to the rooms and found out that the rooms were not made up. Towels were on bathroom floors and beds were not made up. Tried to contact the receptionist and it took more than 15 minutes to get in touch with her. She assigned another two rooms and those were okay

We were very pleased with the hotel. Good service, clean room, good breakfast. Breakfast options: pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, pastries, muffins, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, and pretty decent coffee! Also a Caribou coffee right around the corner. Is it renovated and beautiful? No. But we found it to be a great place to stop for the night for our family of 3. Also if you like to thrift, the Goodwill closeby is really great! We would recommend and return. Thanks!
