It's a really nice place to stay for a couple of nights, I was greeted very warmly and everything was explained in a clear way. It's also good that there is breakfast. Thank you for the great atmosphere and good experience.

It’s my first time staying in a hostel and to be honest I was skeptical about it. Especially since it’s downtown Ottawa, but to my surprise there wasn’t any junkies inside the hostel even for its location, the space was clean and warm. Staff super polite and informative. I stayed in the all female portion and it was great. You can do your laundry, use the kitchen and even have a little living room to share and meet people. The location is great too .

Nice place with interesting history. Very affordable with breakfast. Clean. Friendly staff. Sleeping was a bit difficult lots of sirens during my stay as well as early morning construction accros the way. But for the experience worth the stay.

I enjoyed my last stay at Saintlo. It's a very unique opportunity to stay in a refurbished jail. It's kinda nice that a building that symbolized violence and exclusion has now been reimagined to provide a shelter for different kinds of people.....
