okay 2 star hotel.
The hotel is older and shows it's age. I had a suite and it was very small, I cannot image what a standard room would have been like. The couch in the living room area was dirty, and worn and I was afraid to sit on it.

Not much! If you walked much in the room or bathroom, your white socks turned gray. Didn't care much to find hair on the bathroom floor.... that was our 2nd room. The 1st room had a nonworking tv; so we were moved to a dirty room. The breakfast was a diabetic nightmare!!! Only protein we found was old peanutbutter and it took at least 5 minutes of stirring to to incorporate the oil into it that was lying on top of it. A gentleman was looking all over for some milk.... container was empty. Front desk person was found on the 3rd floor talking to employees and I told her about the "no milk" situation and she scurried away. The establishment is a very sad situation and over-priced. We will not be returning.

Great Hotel for the $$
We stayed here for Hillybilly Days in nearby Pikeville. Easy access to the main highway and to town for anything you need. Not a fancy hotel, but very clean and neat with a friendly and helpful staff. Very good coffee!

Had a horrible odor In the room, no lock on the door so it made it unsafe …. very inconvenient because the room I originally booked is permanently closed and they sent me to this one. They’ve overcharged my card $600 left me traveling with no money. The staff was not helpful at all

Very quick check-in & very helpful staff! I’ve stayed here several times on my visits back home & the staff is very accommodating. However, the room I was going to be put in before changing had a stain on the sheets & the cloth couch had several stains. It looked very unclean. The room & sheets I was switched to were clean.

Yuck
The staff was nice! They only had one key card machine. It broke so for four days I had to be escorted to and from my room. Corporate told the staff they were in no hurry to fix it and would send a replacement machine next week. The room for old and dirty and the couch in my upgraded suite had some huge fluid stain so I couldn’t use it. The vanity in the suite bathroom was too small for a single person’s toiletries
