Great hotel however hotels.com misleading
The stay was great; however the third party application was very misleading. I booked because the amenities included a golf clubhouse and 18 holes on site. My husband brought his golf clubs and we were told that hotel did it have a clubhouse nor were we able to use the golf area at the nearest Marriott. Front desk explained the hotel.com application is very misleading and they have had these issues many times. The balcony golf view was also not the case- it was a view to tall bushes. Once again the hotel stay and staff were wonderful. It’s the hotel.com description that was the issue.

I’m very disappointed that I stayed two nights out of a pre paid five night stay but had to check out early due to sudden changes with my work schedule and the hotel would not reimburse me for the nights I did not stay at the hotel. Seems unfair to say the least

We asked for towels on the second day of our stay, and were told they would be right up. We waited an hour while getting ready to go out,we called the desk and told them we were leaving and housekeeping could drop them off apron our return approximately 9:00pm no towels, we called the desk again and they said they would have the houseman send them right up after waiting an hour we called again received no joy. The towels were delivered on our third day after a discussion with the desk again. The Marriott residence inn refunded us apparently 1 day of our stay, and we can’t seem to get a hold of Expedia to receive our return?

HORRIBLE. All beds VERY old (per staff). If you've back trouble this is untenable. Sagging mattress exacerbated back issue-still in pain. Room REEKED of dog pee (temp. chemical cover-up caused headache then stench ret'd). A RAT was *continuously scratching* behind our headboard at night, room 321. No relocation for 2 nights b/c: sold out Labor Day weekend. Bernie (front desk) & Carlos (engineering) are LOVELY-did their best, but this was worst hotel stay I've *ever* had, anywhere. Wasted precious time & hard-earned money-1st trip in yrs during a hard time of loss. We really needed a get-away. It was stressful, awful, not relaxing at all. Dog pee also staining outdoor concrete areas, trash overflowing for days. Then a giant family totally monopolized pool area for 12 hours-no exaggeration-screaming kids, bbq'ing, music of their choice & pool filthy the next AM (green & cloudy). We couldn't use pool in 108 degree weather. Not enough food for rest of the guests @ breakfast, b/c of exceedingly large party-kitchen was short on food. We were about to leave/end vacay early, we were so miserable. Carlos found us a room-still-I had to pile many layers of towels/sheets (w/ someone's stray earring back included-yuck!) slept in fiancé's leather weightlifting belt (wish I was joking) for support in saggy bed, which caused severe, ongoing back hip pain. Concession: Bonvoy points. We'll *never* be back & now we don't trust Marriott-this 1's a franchise-horrific experience. Never again.

The property was dirty. The staff that i checked in with was rude. When i booked the room it said I overlooked a golf course but all i saw was dead dry bushes. The shower was horrible. I kept on hitting my elbow on the shelf. I will not stay here again or recommend this place.

Did not receive the type of room requested and paid additional monies no balcony wasn’t facing golf course and not 2 nd floor had to deal with a screaming child at 3 am and continuous banging all weekend was told by hotel that your request for type of room not received and they don’t accommodate your request anyways so why am I paying extra for something you can’t accommodate? And requested room change declined.
