The resort is nice with beautiful beach and nature surrounding it. The entertainment is amazing. The in season price is too high. The resort is ok, but not extra luxury and not worth the price.

Underwhelming
Star Class was the upsell, however, the result is like having a cheese and crackers for every meal because all the other food is either spoiled or unavailable. SoCal is the best eating option. Don’t trick yourself into thinking Teppan or the Steakhouse was the best. I will say this if you get a concierge from Star Class, pick Jorley. She was amazing to my family and I we can’t rave enough about her service altogether. If you can afford it, choose Andaz or Four Seasons. Planet Hollywood took over an existing property and while aesthetically they tried their best they don’t get it at all. The spas services were subpar as well overall it was not worth the price. Then again it’s my fault for booking a last minute Christmas vacation for my family for 2024

Great set of activities and tours. We really enjoyed the trips to the rain forest and activities there. Daily entertainment options at the property were also wonderful.

Let me start by saying that overall I had a good trip. I also should have realized that a hotel called Planet Hollywood would not be my general vibe. Maybe I should have also realized that all inclusive meant silly things like à la carte restaurants that you have to sign up for, and rules around it that make no sense (like you can’t book more than one day in advance). Unfortunately, I found the buffet that you had most of your meals at not very good, which definitely impacted my overall stay. There should be more options for breakfast and lunch then just going to the buffet, which has the same food every single day. There should also be more healthy options. There should also be more options at the pool including being able to get a coffee. It blows my mind you had to go up to the main lobby all the way up the hill for that. Service was hit or miss. Not being able to get a drink for extended periods of time at the restaurants was extremely frustrating. I wasn’t wild about how loud the pool area could be given the DJ and activities but it was overall good The beach area was disappointing as the water was very shallow and murky, probably because they are at the end of the bay. Finally, the cost of some things outside the all inclusive piece were offensive. Ex over $250 Canadian for a half hour massage. As I said, however, I had a good trip. The rooms were beautiful as was the view. The hotel was clean and very nice. My highlight were the excursions, which cost extra.

Dislike- Fuel coffee shop hours, no shrimp options, no chairs on the actual beach, steep hills, not allot of activities and ZERO nightlife! Like- Johan the butler. They provided excellent service! OT served very good sports bar food, when Fuel was open the ice cream was delicious! The overall service was very good.

The resort itself was beautiful. The grounds well kept. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Although the choices were plenty, the food options left something to be desired. It was my least favorite part of the experience. The spa was great and service was excellent there too. I enjoyed the evening entertainment options, but everything shuts down by 10pm which kind of leaves you bored at the end of the night. The sports bar helped somewhat by staying open late, but I would recommend considering an adults only option for after hours. People are on vacation and don't necessarily want to be in bed that early.

J’ai bien aimé mon expérience à cette hôtel, je n’avais que 2 nuits. Les chambres sont très belles, belle vue , nourriture bonne aussi, bon choix au buffet , personnel sympathique, excellent service. J’ai bien aimé l’accueil a mon arrivée. Les coussins de chaise de piscine sont décolorés mais son confortables. L’hôtel pourrait les enlever et cela serait déjà plus beau ou coup d’œil car ces coussins rendent l’hôtel vieux. Belle piscine , la plage n’est pas super pour aller s’asseoir ou pour y passer du temps mais il n’y a pas de vagues , donc parfait pour les sports nautiques. Il y a des singes à dans les arbres à la plage, c’est vraiment amusant de les voir , ils n’ont pas très peur. L’hôtel est très en pente , c’est fatiguant de toujours avoir besoin d’attendre la navette. Il n’y a pas pas grand chose à faire , l’hôtel est petit, après 2-3 jours, on cherche quoi faire. L’ambiance était tranquille. J’ai bien aimé mes 2 jours la bas , j’aurais resté une 3e journée mais pas plus.

We were a little hesitant about booking the Planet Hollywood hotel because we were worried it might be too "gimmicky" and we wouldnt get a good vibe for the culture and country. It was awesome- far exceeded our expectations. The resort was smaller, but all the staff got to know us, were super friendly and wabted to make sure we had an amazing experience. They had a lot of restaurant options, and the food was DELICIOUS. We have been to a few all-inclusive resorts before, and this one had the beat food by far. They have a coffee shop with freshe coffee, pastries and ice cream. The buffet was expansive with a lot of options, and the dinner restaurants were incredible. We had lunch by the pool at the burger bar often, as they always had entertainment happening dueing the day by the pool or at night in the main building- we were never bored! It was wonderful for our teenage daughters to be able to wander by themselves and we didn't feel nervous for their safety. We would definitely reccomend it to anyone, and we hope to come back!
