We were very happy with the convenience of the location of the Holiday inn for our stopover and earky flight the following morning. We had dinner in the restaurant which was ample but quite basic and the wait staff were so helpful abd attentive. The room bedding and blockout blinsds were great and buffet style breakfast the following morning was easy. We opted to walk to the free CDGVAL shuttle (2minutes) to get to our international departure. Rather than pay 8EU each for the in house shuttle.

I have stayed in this hotel many times and will continue to do so. The only issue this time was that even though it was kind of chilly in the room the heating system was off because it needed time to transition from AC to heating (!). However, I requested an extra blanket which was promptly delivered to me. Also, keep in mind walls are paper thin and if you think you would be disturbed by a noisy neighbor with an urge to call his friends on the phone in the middle of the night (as mine did) bring earplugs. Just one piece of advice: while breakfast is really a good deal I would recommend keeping away from dinner at the restaurant...

I chose the hotel for its proximity to the airport and shuttle service since we only needed the room for one night. When I checked in and asked about the shuttle the guy at the desk told me it ran every hour and cost 8 euros per person. Not only did he lie about the free shuttle, he DID NOT tell me there was a sign up sheet. The next morning there was no room for us on the shuttle. Staff called a cab that cost 25 euros, bringing the total for our single night to over $200. I should have stayed in Paris. It’s guaranteed I won’t be using Holiday Inn Express in any city in the world ever again.

I only spent seven hours here, but the hotel seemed clean and well-maintained. I was pleased that even though I had to leave before the breakfast area opened, they had coffee and a few pastries available. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Would recommend and stay here again.
