Little gem!
Excellent room on 6th floor, the view from the balcony was fabulous, good shower too!! Friendly welcomes at all times of day, checking-in and out was lovely and easy. Location was perfect for us, personally, due to metro stations close by, and either short stroll towards Chinese/Vietnamese neighbourhood or more central areas. Also, nice selection of affordable restaurants within 5 minutes either up or down the Avenue.

The hotel shows its age and the rooms are much smaller than the pictures show the bed takes up majority of the space which leaves it difficult to access luggage comfortably. Overall it was okay and the staff were friendly. In our room the bedsheets were stained. You could tell they had been washed but there was a large old blood stain on the mattress protector that could be seen through the sheet. The hotel is very close to the metro which is convenient to get to the main tourist attractions but walking to those areas may take some time. We mainly took the metro to and from the hotel and spent the rest of our time walking.

My room was amazing and very comfortable. Access was easy and staff was friendly. My owner concern is the elevator is very old and makes a lot of noises. It worked just fine, I had no issues. But for someone with elevator anxiety it would be quite hard to use. In which case of course you can take the stairs. I know these type of buildings in France didn’t have elevators so, maybe that’s why it’s not a great one. I still rated my experience 5 stars, but just letting others know in case it would be a concern for them :)

La fahada es pequeña, entre 2 restaurantes. Habitación pequeña pero acogera. Baño limpio y equipado. El hotel tiene areas comunes mínimas. Bien situado y con fácil acceso por metro. No hablan español, pero Jean Pierre es muy atento y habla inglés.

The staff were very helpful. They gave us milk for our son and access to clean our baby bottles. We accidentally put the no cleaning sign on our door but they gave us fresh towels and emptied bins on request. They stored our buggy downstairs too which was a great help and as space, like in most buildings in Paris it seems, is limited. The beds, shower and toilet were all excellent for a 3 star hotel. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning too, which I can fully recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend
There was female hair on the floor. The shower did not have a door, screen or curtain to prevent the floor from getting wet when showering. We reserved and paid for a room with a king bed and a twin bed and they gay us 3 twin beds. They tried giving other members of our party the same room but they complained and got the correct room that they paid for but we got nothing. Overall, an extremely upsetting and frustrating experience.

I frequent the neighborhood and am letting neighbors know to stop referring their guests to your hotel.Hotel.com sent you a double payment for my week’s stay. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but there are quite a few buses and metros that are near by.

The Expedia listing stated that the hotel offers room service and it doesn't. There is a small menu in the room with a short list of drinks but when we inquired, we were told that they don't have them. They had one iron for the entire hotel, and so it took over an hour for them to find it and get it to us. We didn't have hot water the first day of our stay, and had to request that they fix it. The WiFi is a really slow connection, you cannot stream anything on a computer with it. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival. This hotel is in a good location, but that is the only thing that can be recommended about it. Expedia should change their listing to reflect how the hotel really is.

Honestly not sure how this is rated as 4 star. I was very disappointed with my stay. For starters, the listing advertises English speaking staff but not all speak English. This was one main reason I chose this hotel and it was a problem when I needed to locate a health clinic at night at the front desk staff didn’t speak English. Second, only one elevator, very slow, and seems like it could break down at any moment. Third, upon check in I was put in a room with a dirty, moldy bathroom and the shower was missing one entire side of the shower door. Meaning after a 5 minute shower the entire bathroom was soaking wet even though I covered the floor in towels. I slipped and fell getting out. Told front desk staff and they initially apologized but said they didn’t have any other rooms. Not sure how they could put a guest in a faulty shower room from the start? After having Expedia call the hotel for help, they found me another room. But the hotel was fully booked for the week so I assume some other unlucky guest got stuck in that awful room. Fourth, listing advertises 24/7 lobby and front desk staff however I returned in the night from a health clinic to a pitch black lobby and locked front door to the building. Rang the bell and had to bang and bang to get someone to let me in. The rooms are tiny, not that clean feeling and the hotel overall needs upgrades. Can’t speak to the breakfast because I opted out. Only positive is very kind staff.
