The Ranch House (2 bed/2 bath)

This meticulously renovated farmhouse sits down an oak-canopied road just off 46 West past some of Willow Creek's best wineries. This ultra special ‘mini residence’ is seeped in lux farm style. 'The Ranch House' has a wrap around covered porch and views of our neighboring vineyards. Enter through the double doors into a great room with vaulted ceilings and large barn fans. The well appointed, full sized kitchen has everything you need to cook your best meals. Included is ample coffee and creamers for relaxing mornings on the veranda overlooking the neighboring vineyards, pasta/sauce, granola, oatmeal, teas and hot cocoa for your convenience, as well as a complementary bottle of wine. Two Cal King en-suites are just off this airy, open room and are decorated in 2 different themes. The en-suite bathrooms have big barn doors, giant showers, and rustic high end vanities, hair products and EO lavender body wash.
Just outside the large, double French doors of your guest quarters is a fire pit, pergola, BBQ, and 'play ground' (horse shoes and croquet).
You have full access to the barn (unless the bedroom is booked) with a pool table, bar and lounge area as well as full kitchen! (we also offer yoga and yoga retreats- inquire if interested).
Hike the 42 acres discovering the views over vineyards, look for the Manzanita, and Enchanted Forests, and other lovely spots. Enjoy a bottle of wine atop several awesome look out points on the property. You can also walk or bike the quiet country road to nearby wineries such as L'Aventure, Austin Hope, Windward, and so many others. Or just sit on the wrap around full covered porch, enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the hawks circle overhead, the quail flutter or other wild life play their music for you. It is so quiet you can hear the oaks sigh. It truly is magical here.
This wonderful farm originally built in1927 is seeped in a history which includes life as a hunting lodge, lavender farm, horse farm, and aviaries for raising birds. While re-imagining this serene slice of heaven, we repurposed many unique parts such as original board/batten walls, Adelaida stone, barn doors, and other treasures sprinkled throughout the restoration.
Named Farm Blanc et Rouge for 3 reasons. First: This is wine country after all, and we enjoy either white (Blanc) or red (Rouge) wine! Second, the house is white and the barns are red. Finally, I am half French and love my French heritage. I couldn't resist sharing a little French with our guests!
With all the conveniences of short or long term stays, you may want to just stay in for dinner to enjoy the peace and quiet, as we often do.
Hike, bike, sip & savor the stunning views of all 42 acres. 10 min. to downtown Paso, 35 to Cambria. The central coast will sweep you off your feet!
For larger groups or even for 4 couples, please find our 1 bedroom guest residence next door called Le Coop (see #2206953) as well as The Barn (#2527830) with a Cal King bedroom, bathroom and full kitchen.

Combined we can house a group of up to 8.
**I am so sorry we cannot accommodate outside pets due to pet allergies.
**We have a minimum guest age requirement of 12 years please.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Wonderful place to stay!
We had a great time at the Ranch House. The house was comfortable, well decorated and stocked. It's perfect for two couples. The outdoor space is truly wonderful. Lots of comfortable chairs, fire pits and tables. And the horse shoes and cornhole kept us entertained while we were relaxing. I highly recommend a stay here!

Paso Perfect
I did quite a bit of research on Paso lodging prior to our recent stay. Natalie's property - The Ranch House, looked intriguing for our party - wife and I plus our son and his wife. The location near town but secluded in the country, which was a big draw. The layout was perfect! Large great room/kitchen plus two master suites with their own bathrooms. We sat out by the fire pit every evening and grilled for dinner one night during our stay Everything was top notch! Natalie and her husband Glen were gracious hosts who live on the property but were "invisible" unless you needed them. Natalie was very kind and provided fresh eggs during our stay. Honestly you can't find a better location and home for your stay in Paso

Epic
I don’t know where to begin. First, Natalie and Glen are incredible hosts and really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. There was so much attention to detail inside our accommodations, and outside the property feels like a sanctuary. We enjoyed having our coffee on the porch while watching birds and squirrels start their days. Natalie is very attentive and has great suggestions for wineries, restaurants and all things “Paso”. Close to downtown restaurants and shops, yet still has the feel of being out in the country. We cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway for 20th Anniversary
This property is spectacular. It’s so peaceful, nestled right next to a beautiful vineyard all by itself, but still close to downtown and countless wineries. The Ranch House is beautifully decorated with so many cool details. Natalie was very helpful, providing us with many local recommendations that we enjoyed. She even brought us fresh hard boiled eggs and muffins one morning! We loved spending our anniversary week here at Farm Blanc et Rouge and would love to come back someday!

Incredible stay....
We had an incredible stay. Natalie gave us amazing winery recommendations and they were spot on for what we wanted to experience. Also spoiled us with fresh eggs and warm, yes warm banana muffins in the morning! I can't tell you how quiet and peaceful the property is and surrounding area. We took hikes, enjoyed gorgeous views, we sat by the fire pit at night and we played pool in the amazing red barn. There are simply no details spared inside and out. Just stunning!! My only complaint we weren't there longer!! There is something about staying at this property that puts you at peace. Thank you to Natalie and Glen for an amazing time. We loved it and WE WILL BE BACK! You have new friends now! :)

Perfect Getaway!
Quiet, charming, well appointed accomodations. We stayed in the 2 BR Ranch home, found it to be impeccably decorated with everything you would need. We spent mornings and evenings sitting on the porch, or by the firepit, enjoying the fresh country air. Our Host provided fresh eggs and muffins during our stay which were amazing! Great property.

A serene & gorgeous weekend retreat
This chic farmhouse is gorgeously decorated and stocked with everything you could possibly need and more! Hosts Natalie & Glen are extremely personable & hospitable and we’re available to our every need/question throughout our visit. They were incredibly helpful and generous towards us. The property itself is absolutely stunning, set among the glorious oak trees. My three gal pals and I thoroughly enjoyed meandering the many trails on this property- getting lost in its beauty. We loved sitting outside by the fire pit and enjoying the rain storm on their fabulously appointed porch/rocking chairs. Simply put, this ranch home and property provide and exquisite retreat! Beds and furnishings were very cozy and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need for cooking and staying in. Can’t wait to come back again…and again!

The best… No hyperbole.
Farm Blanc et Rouge, run by Natalie and Glen, is an incredible experience. Their home is beautiful, an easy bike ride away from some of the best vineyards in America, and the hospitality Natalie and Glen extend is beyond reproach. Natalie provided us with a host of recommendations during our stay, from wineries to visit, restaurants to try, you name it… each one was spot on and exceeded our very high expectations. We will DEFINITELY be staying on the farm again. I have traveled pretty extensively. Farm Blanc et Rouge was one of the finest experiences I’ve had, full stop.

Incredible all the way around
This property is amazing. Set privately within trees and the vineyard, the home had everything you could want. The property manager went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful time with wine tastings and even a special breakfast of eggs and crosissants delivered to our door. The eggs from her own chickens. While it rained our entire visit...the ambiance could not have been sunnier.

Wonderful Paso getaway
This was a 5+ star experience in every way. It rained the entire weekend so we didn't even get to enjoy the outdoor amenities yet we were perfectly cozy tucked inside this beautifully decorated little ranch house. Natalie is a wonderful hostess, brought croissants & fresh eggs from the coop. This property is in a perfect location, isolated and private yet an easy drive to downtown and the westside wineries. This will become our Paso destination in the future.

Amazing retreat!
From the moment I booked, Natalie was responsive and accommodating. I unfortunately was unable to make my original booking and Natalie was flexible and allowed me to rebook for a weekend that worked. When we arrived at the farmhouse, we didn't want to leave. It was a beautiful, peaceful place that had everything you could need in a vacation rental. It's great for groups, friends, or couples. Natalie even recommended wineries to visit and trails around the site that you can hike. Overall, this is one of the better rentals I've been to and I will definitely be back.

California Farm meets Boutique Winery Inn
This place has everything you'd want in a rustic California ranch/farm with all the trimmings of a boutique hotel nestled in beautiful wine country. A long and winding road takes you away from busy highway 46, through rolling hills of California Live Oaks, vineyards and open California landscapes to finally reach Farm Blanc et Rouge. And what an amazing place, charming in every detail, with a private outdoor space with a fire pit and views to the open sky and vineyards beyond, here nature abounds. The interior is well appointed, and beautifully designed, a cross between contemporary farm chic, and rustic ranch house, a really comfortable place to stay. The common space at Blanc et Rouge is the "barn", an eclectic collection of furniture and objects inside a long, linear, original barn house. It has a common kitchen/bar and pool table, and a good place for a fun gathering. Natalie and Glen, the hosts, are beyond description in their attentiveness and hospitality, wow! If you are going to Paso Robles and want a quiet, serene retreat set within the landscape of central California, and smack dab in the center of some of the best vineyards in Paso, this is the place!

Heaven on Earth
What an absolute amazing retreat! From the moment we arrived at the Farm Blanc et Rouge Farmhouse, it was total perfection. The scenery surrounding the property is gorgeous. There is also a beautiful vineyard next door so you receive the added benefit of taking in rolling hills filled with grape vines and more stunning colors and beauty. There is plenty of space in the front yard and around the properly to sit, relax and just take in the beautiful California weather. If you like hiking, walking, or running, there are trails and plenty of areas to do so. And that’s just the property – which is perfect. Natalie is also the best host I’ve ever met. She made us feel so welcome. She even brought us eggs in the morning. Her talent for decorating and her attention to detail is also incredible. The two-bedroom Ranch house where we stayed was beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable. We loved our stay so much that we are going back in September. This place is a special gem.

Exceptional!
The Ranch House at Blanc et Rouge was the perfect Paso getaway. Secluded (gated access), but not completely remote (the owners, Natalie and Glen are on-site to happily assist with anything that we needed and were very respectful of our privacy). The newly renovated Ranch House is beautifully appointed in a French farmhouse aesthetic. The finishes are all high-end with great attention to detail everywhere you look and the effect was pure relaxed comfort. Natalie and Glen, were welcoming and thoughtful (a bottle of wine chilling when we arrived, with S’mores kit, farm-fresh eggs and tomatoes brought to us throughout our stay). We were spoiled by their kindness and hospitality. The porch overlooking the barn and vineyards with fabulous barrel rocking chairs was a great way to start and end our days. And the fire pit was the perfect way to enjoy the gorgeous Paso nights, with a glass of wine while gazing at the stars. The house is conveniently located to all the wineries and the comforts of the Ranch House made each day a perfect way to relax and recharge. When we needed a break from wine-tasting, there were chickens to feed, a gorgeous barn to explore and paths on the property to roam. At the end of our stay, it was hard to leave. We’re so grateful to Natalie and Glen for sharing this beautiful property and making our stay one of the most enjoyable we’ve had in the 15+ years of visiting Paso.

This is overall the best place we’ve stayed
We’ve stayed at a fair number of home rentals and we’ve found that: (1) most hosts don’t realize they’re in the hospitality business; their primary motivation is getting your money. But in the case of Natalie and Glen I discovered they clearly understand hospitality. They’re the best I’ve experienced. (2) most hosts don’t have a sense of decoration; they throw together the cheapest furniture and art they can find. But in the case of Natalie, you walk away with a very clear sense of her impeccable style and artistry. The place is exquisite. (3) with most places, there’s always a surprise, but not in a good way; the place is usually just not as good as the pics in the listing. But in the case of Natalie and Glen’s place, the reverse is true. The pics don’t show how good this place really is. You have to experience it to believe it. I should also mention that we were a bit hesitant about coming to Paso Robles in August because the temperatures are notoriously high. And yes, that turned out to be true, but there’s a nice breeze that comes in during the hottest part of the day (Afternoon), and it was very, very pleasant. Finally, I must thank Glen for his great 15-minute E-ticket ride on his UTV through their 42 acre property. Magnificent! Rent this place before word gets out about how great it is and how hospitable Natalie and Glen are. You will love it!
