This meticulously renovated farmhouse sits down an oak-canopied road just off 46 West past some of Willow Creek's best wineries. This ultra special ‘mini residence’ is seeped in lux farm style. 'The Ranch House' has a wrap around covered porch and views of our neighboring vineyards. Enter through the double doors into a great room with vaulted ceilings and large barn fans. The well appointed, full sized kitchen has everything you need to cook your best meals. Included is ample coffee and creamers for relaxing mornings on the veranda overlooking the neighboring vineyards, pasta/sauce, granola, oatmeal, teas and hot cocoa for your convenience, as well as a complementary bottle of wine. Two Cal King en-suites are just off this airy, open room and are decorated in 2 different themes. The en-suite bathrooms have big barn doors, giant showers, and rustic high end vanities, hair products and EO lavender body wash.
Just outside the large, double French doors of your guest quarters is a fire pit, pergola, BBQ, and 'play ground' (horse shoes and croquet).
You have full access to the barn (unless the bedroom is booked) with a pool table, bar and lounge area as well as full kitchen! (we also offer yoga and yoga retreats- inquire if interested).
Hike the 42 acres discovering the views over vineyards, look for the Manzanita, and Enchanted Forests, and other lovely spots. Enjoy a bottle of wine atop several awesome look out points on the property. You can also walk or bike the quiet country road to nearby wineries such as L'Aventure, Austin Hope, Windward, and so many others. Or just sit on the wrap around full covered porch, enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the hawks circle overhead, the quail flutter or other wild life play their music for you. It is so quiet you can hear the oaks sigh. It truly is magical here.
This wonderful farm originally built in1927 is seeped in a history which includes life as a hunting lodge, lavender farm, horse farm, and aviaries for raising birds. While re-imagining this serene slice of heaven, we repurposed many unique parts such as original board/batten walls, Adelaida stone, barn doors, and other treasures sprinkled throughout the restoration.
Named Farm Blanc et Rouge for 3 reasons. First: This is wine country after all, and we enjoy either white (Blanc) or red (Rouge) wine! Second, the house is white and the barns are red. Finally, I am half French and love my French heritage. I couldn't resist sharing a little French with our guests!
With all the conveniences of short or long term stays, you may want to just stay in for dinner to enjoy the peace and quiet, as we often do.
Hike, bike, sip & savor the stunning views of all 42 acres. 10 min. to downtown Paso, 35 to Cambria. The central coast will sweep you off your feet!
For larger groups or even for 4 couples, please find our 1 bedroom guest residence next door called Le Coop (see #2206953) as well as The Barn (#2527830) with a Cal King bedroom, bathroom and full kitchen.
