The check-in was less than average. No a 'Welcome to La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Radford" or a simple "Hi" at all! Front Desk Staff seemed 'nonchalant', could not care less. Also, although overall environment was quiet and hotel was not bad in terms of beauty, (room included), I do have to say phone in the room could not be dustier and one drawer in the middle night stand could not have more mold than this; last but no least, there was a utility command hook sticker on the wall toward the ceiling area, and the bathroom shower door base seemed to also have a lot of mold. Shame as everything else seemed ok but lack of interest and supervision and accountability is killing this country! Have pictures to corroborate all this but Expedia did not include an option to upload pictures.

Good room for a quick stay.
Good stay. The room was clean and the staff was friendly! The bathroom smelled like bleach so it made it feel extra clean. There was a funny smell in the room (could have been from the bleach in the bathroom). And the a/c unit was kinda loud. The room was recently updated. We were only staying overnight. Breakfast was ok…there were eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, toast, cereal, juice, coffee, tea.

Quick overnight stay
Front desk attendant was nice at check in. Other staff was very nice and attentive. Room was clean and comfy. Everything was great for our overnight stay.

Not what it used to be
This is an old hotel and work it was relatively clean it didn’t have a good feel to it. When we got into our room and went to pull the curtain at the window a van was parked just outside with a man in the van, not more than six feet from the window. He was still there two hoses later. A little creepy.

I made a reservation to stay here, but when I checked in, the staff refused to allow me to stay because my drivers license listed my residence as a nearby town. I actually lived more than 3 1/2 hr away, but he said he could only go by my address on license. After being questioned and having to prove I wasn't local, I was allowed to check in. They need to find a better way to filter out local trouble makers, and Orbitz needs to highlight this "requirement" when making a reservation.

Overall great hotel
Overall we were completely satisfied with the hotel. My only problem was in the bathroom of the room. We were in room 119 and the bathroom wasn’t in the best shape. The shower had mildew on the upper walls and lower part of the doors.

After the reviews, I was prepared to be disappointed. However, it was very clean. It had no stinky smell. It had a clean, comfortable bed. It had a clean shower. Is it dated? Yes. But is that a reason to dislike an establishment? Heavens, no.

Looks can be so deceiving.Immediately as I opened the door to my room a funky ,musty odor hit me, but it looked clean but with a terrible order. I noticed that the handles on the bathroom door were dirty and my refrigerator didn't work so I went ahead and got settled. Afterwards I went to the front desk and told them about my issues. He fixed the refrigerator but nothing else.I went out later on that evening to get some disinfected spray for the room when I sprayed the entire room with lysol,it helped, but eventually the smell came back,so I decided to just suck it up and not complain anymore.Later on that night I went to take a shower as I turned the shower water on to warm it up the water started to come outside of the shower floor and run behind the toilet ,sink and proceed to come out of the bathroom into the hallway. I immediately turned the shower off and called the staff member about my issue she told me that she would be thete in a minute.She knocks at the door and gives me 10 big towels and proceeds to explain to me how to position these towels onto the shower floor in order for me to get a quick bath.I told the staff if you knew to bring me all thes towels that tells me that this is not a new problem.She hung her head and replied I will be back later to pick them all up.Plus baking soda on top of the closet and a brown durty stained shower curtain. I was so disgusted by then I wanted a new room, but know one offered me one. Horrible Place!!!!!

I had just come in from a long day of travel and Crystal, the receptionist made the check in process easy and informative of the hotel and travel situation. I wish this hotel had been an option for me in my business trip earlier in the week.
