The experience was pretty good for a low end Hotel and the check-in was efficient, and I was even upgraded from the queen to a king bed since I was on my own. However, Furniture was very dated and there was not a single restaurant within 3 Mi of the hotel.

RUN AWAY!!
I checked in at 2 and out by 4, They where very friendly but room was not as I had ordered instantly told their at full capacity, I went to room the 2nd time smoking room I don't smoke. People where friendly did not refund me I just checked out!! And drove 5 more hours slept in my car since I came from helping family in Fl who had been hit by 2 hurricanes so to not beable to sleep where I paid is ridiculous bed was super hard, room had sticky carpet dirty bed sheets, dog scratched furniture NO THANK YOU!! Stink bugs in the room. Really uncalled for all together

Clean room, but slow to respond
This was my second stay here. Outside needs some TLC. Outside is deceiving. That said, second stay was not as pleasant as the first. Room was clean and yet smaller. Bed was comfortable. However, I had stopped to watch some ball games, but the television didn't work. I don't think the front desk clerk spoke English well enough to understand the problem. I finally, by chance, ran into a worker who did, somewhat. He called the owner/manager who said he would be there in an hour or so to fix problem. Finally came by but games were pretty much over, after 4 hours. Just frustrated at whole situation. Obviously, family owned and operated, which I applaud their effort, but should hire a front desk clerk until language is acquired by front desk personnel at least. Probably won't stay again.

We did not get to stay at this Travel Lodge. We booked through Hotels.com. After receiving a confirmation text from the property, we received a phone call from the property. They told us, they were overbooked, and we were not able to to get our room. The call came in as we were about to exit the interstate to the property. They offered us a room at another property 25 miles away from where this property is. Idk if it was 25 miles ahead of us or 25 miles behind us. They offered us

The manager was so accommodating as we were experiencing a gas shortage in our town because of the hurricane, and therefore she let us get back to her the day of check-in without financial penalty as to whether or not we could keep our reservation. She didn't have to do that, as we booked through Expedia and they charge you no matter what if you didn't cancel be 7pm the night before your reservation. The beds were very comfortable with the exception of the flat, old pillows. Bring your own pillow!! Behind the door was a line of food remnants, crumbs, and dirt. The chair by the reading lamp also has crumbs all over it. I had to get a cloth to clean these things up. The tv didn't work. Free breakfast didn't have protein, but was clean, and had fresh coffee that was appreciated! They offered coffee 24/7 in the lobby that we also took advantage of. Staff was respectful and kind. Only stayed there because it was budget friendly, and away from the hurricanes path. Wouldn't stay there again unless it was an emergency situation.

Hotels.com fails… Travel Lodge staff rescues
Travel lodge was great. Especially considering hotels.com did NOT actually secure a reservation. The staff was helpful and accommodating during a difficult trip. Will NOT use hotels.com going forward as they failed at the single task we required… securing our lodging during an evacuation/return.

Budget hotel right off I75
We were glad to have a place to stay when evacuating FL due to a hurricane. Staff was pleasant, shower good, and mattress comfortable. Those were the pluses. The room was dark and drab and needed a good cleaning - a bug crawling on the ceiling, dead silverfish bug in bathroom, dust coating hairdryer, etc. Breakfast was ok but skimpy. They ran out of bagels and oj and never replenished. Glad for a room and a bed but would not choose to stay here again unless there’s no alternative.

The beds were pretty comfortable. The room next to us had a dog that barked til after midnight then started again at 5 a.m. and there was nobody at the front desk at midnight to address the problem. Had i known how secluded it was would have booked the other one. Traveling with all women safety was a concern.
