When I arrived to this comfort inn and suites first thing we noticed the awning was ripped off the building.The outer wall was damaged from the fall of that awning. Ok weather happens so I go to the desk to check in the young girl Harper there when asking for my preference to the room location let me know the pool was unavailable as I asked for a room closest to the pool if possible and that I only booked this room due to the hotel staff I spoke to the day before saying there in fact was a pool at this location!! She called the owner Mike who said he would cancel the room for me . I said to hold off on that for the moment that I would go discuss this with my daughter in the car seeing as it was last minute and I was in a rush to get to another aptmt and we needed a room . The car was just outside the loading and unloading area so I wouldn’t be long and u hair get the correct card she needed anyways to do this cancelation. I go for 2 min come back and I said I’m in such a rush for another event and this is last min well just keep the room . Harper then states she already cancelled the room ! Then when I asked her why she was very snotty and said well you said you were only getting it for the pool . Now mind you I was the ONLY ONE in her area I was the only person who was speaking with her I said hold on with cancelling that room I’ll be right back I’m going out to the car to discuss this as we are in a rush! Still extremely snotty said the pools pipes broke only 2weeks ago!

Stayed for 5 days for work. No one came to clean the room for 5 days. The front desk morning lady was the absolute rudest inconsiderate person I have met working a lobby mornings at a hotel. Breakfast was made late almost every morning. I was told I had to wait to get anything before leaving for work (my mornings start at 530, and I just wanted a couple “to go” items. During the day there was a younger gentleman working during the day and there being “no smoking” signs he was lighting cigarettes before being fully outside to smoke them from the lobby doors so the entire lobby smelled of cigarette smoke for the time he was working. I was told the gym was under renovations by one staff member one day and the very next morning I asked a different staff member they said it was only the pool that was under renovation and they other person apparently didn’t want to unlock the doors to the gym. Anyways what I’m getting at was this was the worst hotel stay I have had in a very very long time and I’ve been traveling for work for more than 12 years…

When we arrived we were put in the wrong room. The key malfunctioned most of the time. Our floor lamp broke the second day. We found ants in the room. There was no fridge. The bathroom was too dark and the shower curtain kept sliding open. Breakfast was lacking, and you could see everything behind the scene in the employee area. Oh, and the overhang in the front of the building had fallen off

Is this what you get now for your good money?

Broken key card reader had to switch rooms after going back twice. Broken pool not working. Broken window was patched up with scotch tape. Broken heater made noise all night. bathroom had peeling wallpaper and no towels had to go back again. Pull out bed had no sheets. Had to keep going back to ask for everything. Front desk had his airpods in so probably could not hear me properly when i can back the third time. Sad when you pay so much based on good reviews.

The property is under renovation so there was construction going on everywhere. All of the amenities they advertised were out of service during renovation. The room we had was very dirty, staff clearly didn’t clean, the second bed in our room the frame was fully broken and you could not lay on the bed at all. Close to Highmark which is why we came but location and the staff being very pleasant were the only good features.

Although they say it has trailer parking, there is none. The hotel looked like it was falling apart and the pool and gym were both closed. We didn't even stay, we didn't feel safe there.
