We arrived to check in and were told that our reservation was canceled by Expedia. What? Expedia sent me reservation confirmation and proof of payment. The front counter staff was very helpful. She helped us find a number to call. She had told us they were booked for the night, but called a manager, and they offered us a room that didn't match our reservation. Im pretty sure the room we got is a room they dont normally fill. The floor has been damaged and needs to be replaced. The tub is very squeaky when moving around while showering. But other than that, the room was ok. The second floor hallway was very warm and had an odor. The hotel is pet-friendly and non-smoking, so I'm not sure the smell. Sadly though, because the hotel is non-smoking, the smokers sit right outside the front doors. The included breakfast is pretty decent! The property is old, but updated on the inside. The pool is not in working order.
