Buyer beware
What bothers me the most is that nowhere, neither hotels.com nor on the Hilton site, was it mentioned or advertised that this hotel is under construction. Had I known, I would’ve chosen another. Instead, I paid full-price for a very disappointing experience. I feel bad for the (very friendly) staff, who have to work in a dusty construction zone and constantly face surprised guests, few of whom were aware of what they were walking into. In several spots throughout the hotel, there are gentle signs like, “please pardon our dust!” Or “bear with us while we make this hotel beautiful for you!” The signs felt insulting…this is a major construction zone that I never would’ve chosen had I been informed up front. My family and I woke up with red, itchy eyes and coughing. There was no hot breakfast, no lobby, no business center. Yes the rooms are renovated, but unfortunately ours was dirty. Just an overall really disappointing experience that could’ve been avoided altogether. To Hilton: advertise that this is under construction and offer a discount to guests to stay. You’ll avoid all these justified 1-star reviews.

The hotel is under renovation which was not updated on the hotel.com. Therefore, amenities such as pool and gym were not available. The shower glass was stained and appeared to be unclean. Food choice was not as advertised. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive including Johnathan, Tonya and Kimora. Once the hotel renovations are complete, I would revisit.

Hotel under construction!
no notification that hotel was under reconstruction. Complete surprise to have to walk through debris to get to entrance and then follow signs to temp. Front desk through stripped down halls and plastic bubble wrap floors, breakfast was a joke. No place to sit. Did I stay? Yes. Why? My room was non refundable! I feel conned.

The property was under major renovation is why I gave low marks. The staff was pleasant and helpful considering the hotels conditions. Our room was renovated and up to Hamptons standards but, I expected less mess everywhere.

Would have been nice to know that the hotel was under construction during our stay. A discount would have been nice. The breakfast was very limited because of the renovations going on. And getting in and out of the building was more difficult than necessary due to the fences around the parts still under construction. Staff was very friendly though.

Undergoing Renovations, but still a nice stay
The hotel was currently under renovation so there was a lot of construction to get around. The parking wasn't near a door so we had to get the cart and unload then push it down the sidewalk to get in the door by the pool which was closed as well. They had a gentleman walking around and cleaning hand rails, doors and the elevator after folks came in so that was nice to see. The check-in was in a first floor room and the gentlemen at the desk were great! The breakfast area was across the hall from check-in. Food options were grab and go; there was a microwave to heat up the sandwiches and a toaster for the bagels. We didn't have any issues with our stay, the beds were comfy and the shower hot. Would stay again after they are done with construction if in the area again.

The property was under renovation. The place is wired off with one side door for ingress and egress poorly marked. Inside tiles are cracked and mold on the ceilings. There were wires coming out of the walls, a huge safety concern. The elevator was dirty and there were wires exposed inside. The “office” was simply a bed room on the first floor and it was a mess. The hallway was dimly lit. When I checked in I expressed my bemusement at the poor condition of the place. He responded that I was not the first person to make this remark. When I arrived at our bedroom, there was a worker asleep on the floor down the hall. When I checked in I was told that the breakfast was “ grab and go.” We came down in the morning and there little food left and it was of low quality. If I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia, I would have walked out.

Prior to our stay we recieved an email that the hotel front desk was relocated and breakfast would be grab and go. No big deal. When we arrived the hotel was under complete construction. The front desk was located in a hotel room that you walked through heavy construction to get to. We tried to remain positive. Got our room key from the very friendly staff. Went to the room and the entire way up it was a construction zone. The hallway wasn’t painted yet, lights were taped or not installed yet, there wasn’t even a doorway floor between the room and hallway. Went into the room where we were given a king instead of two queens reserved. This hotel absolutely should not have been open during this heavy construction. The pool was completely unusable as well. Multiple families were leaving at once. We were told we would be refunded but we have yet to receive a reimbursement. We had to load our kids back into the car and find another hotel which was rather difficult because there was a baseball tournament in town. This experience was absolutely horrible. We should be refunded.

Pictures outdated on Expedia there is no tub rooms. The hotel is under construction. The television was placed facing the wall an unable to be turned around to face the bed. The bathroom was not well cleaned. The receptionist was the only bright spot she was very accommodating and apologized for the room not meeting expectations.

Crooks! We had reservation & paid thru Expedia. Upon arrival, my handicapped veteran brother in law was told (after he fought his way in thru construction mess) that their computer was down, sorry, can’t check him into room. Now…. They say NO Refund?!? We arrived to check in, they turned away but still want to keep our money?!? I travel tons, never again at Hampton Unn & I’m a Hilton Honors Member 20 years! Shameful
