Stayed here because of its proximity to TJ hospital, but otherwise I wouldn’t have and don’t recommend it. Pros: a) location - proximity to everything but it does come with the typical city mess; b) rooms are fairly clean for the age of this place; and c) breakfast is good & a lot of options. Cons: a) customer service is bad; b) some of the staff is really rude; c) no toiletries unless you call and ask (even the one star hotels have them); d) really thin walls, you can hear everything from adjacent rooms. FYA, parking is $36 a day.

Breakfast was disappointing compared to other holiday inn express. How do you not have bacon every day?!!? The pancake machine was empty or broken 2 out of the 3 mornings. Other food options were delicious!

Decent one night stay. Tv was small and very outdated. Overall the building is a bit old and run down but not too bad. Staff was very nice. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. The street and areas outside of the hotel are a bit rough and dirty. Wouldn’t feel safe out there late at night but it is a good central location.

Great location, friendly staff.
Overall great. Check-in was easy, staff was friendly, room was clean. My only complaint was that housekeeping knocked on and then opened my door 2.5 hrs before checkout.
