WE HAD ARRIVED EARLY AND DID A PRE CHECK IN. HAD A NICE TIME AT THE POOL WAITING FOR THEM TO LET US KNOW WHEN WE COULD CHECK IN. I FINALLY CALLED AT 315PM & SHE TOLD ME OH YEAH YOUR ROOM IS READY. JUST COME TO THE FRONT DESK TO GRAB YOUR KEYS. ONCE WE GOT TO THE FRONT DESK THE LINE WAS HUGE AND OUT THE DOOR. THEY MADE US STAND IN THAT LINE AGAIN TO GRAB KEYS! THEY SHOULD HAVE AN EXTRA LINE FOR PRE CHECKERS! OR HAVE MOBILE CHECK IN! ALSO! WE BOUGHT TICKETS TO A SHOW FOR TALKING STICK RESORT AMPHITHEATER. THINKING IT WAS ACTUALLY AT TALKING STICK RESORT. HOWEVER WE FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS 30MIN AWAY AND A $40 UBER RIDE. VERY MISLEADING, IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE CITY. WE ALSO TALKED TO MANY PEOPLE AT THE POOL THAT DID NOT KNOW THIS EITHER!

We loved staying here for a 4 night weekend to celebrate a special birthday. Everything was perfect! Super clean spaces, lots of activity and a nice mix of quieter spots too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the Orange Sky—best steakhouse ever plus gorgeous views up high. Memorable evening. A special shoutout to Jazmin who works in the Blue Cactus Cafe—extremely talented staff member.

At check in, my VIP room upgrade was not available. The only enjoyable thing was the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed. I didn’t care too much for the unfriendly staff (with the exception of the check in receptionist). Room service breakfast was okay. The food could have been hotter. At checkout, the $25 VIP credit was not applied until i mentioned it was missing. Thank goodness we only stayed one day. but we won’t be staying there again. The whole place just had unwelcoming vibes. Nice hotel architecture & decor though.

I love everything about the property. You have basically everything you needed in the property itself. Only complaint is that differentiating that talking stick resort amphitheater is on the other side of town and not located on the property. I take blame for not doing the research but also a little confusing for out of town guests.
