Shuttle driver so rude. We understand it’s not their responsibility to help with luggage but he blatantly didn’t help people that were struggling. Also it was so hot in the shuttle—he had AC on up at the front facing himself and everyone else so hot behind. Otherwise, hotel shouldn’t be classified as four stars. “Nice design” disguises poor quality rooms and rude staff.

From check in to check out it was a wonderful experience. Check in was easy. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The beds were comfortable, and they had a great shower. Check out was easy and the shuttle got us to and from the airport in good time.

It was good for us because it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle. We also had a nice room with a comfortable bed, and a good breakfast. It was also easy to get a taxi to go downtown. The only criticism I have is that the hotel is a bit dark, and the shower stall in our room did not have a ledge that we could place our shampoo or soap on.

More like a 3 star hotel. Nothing around the area but industrial and commercial buildings. Room was dirty, missing a set of towels and standard in terms of size. Don’t expect a 4 star hotel. Lobby is the nicest thing you will see. Breakfast buffet is decent.

It was nicer than we expected, the night staff were not very welcoming. However, the morning staff at check out were kind. The hotel was convenient, and the room clean and comfortable, especially after 24 hours of travel and no sleep. If you need a night stay between flights this would be a good place for you.

Great hotel and location - staff...hit or miss
The hotel is very nice, modern and clean. Location to airport is great. Honestly it was most of the front desk staff seemed miserable. I'm not saying you have to be super happy, but at least pleasant if you're the first interaction with the customer. Also, the difference in the shuttle drivers is crazy. We stayed there twice - the first time, the guy said absolutely nothing. The next time, both drivers were great...at least let us know where we were getting dropped off - like 'this is terminal one'. The first guy...it was our first time we flew out of Barcelona he stopped and everyone got out - then we found out we needed to take a bus to terminal two. The second time - at least that driver said 'this is terminal one, next will be terminal two'. Like...just that...that's all we needed the first guy to say.

I like that the city bus came close to the hotel. I wish that I would have been informed about this earlier. I would have traveled the bus more often while I stayed there.

Another great experience
This is the 2nd time I stayed here and was just as pleased as the first time. The shuttle to/from is swift. I ordered room service this time and it was delivered more quickly than I anticipated - which was nice. Overall, great night at BAH. I will stay here again.
